they are plastic

OK, that's what I was hoping/figured...there shouldn't be a hockey arena in the country (including Consol, where some drinks are dispensed in plastic bottles) that sells beverages in anything other than the form of a cup. Too many idiots out there.

Stopped reading here. EVERY fan in EVERY arena in the NHL would've done the same thing. Get off your high horse. Yesterday you were critiquing what we were discussing on our thread and now you're telling us how to behave. Fack off

Your absolutely wrong, cheer when someone takes a puck to the throat is NOT a normal thing. Its pathetic.

First and foremost, good game you guys out hustled us from the drop of the puck.
Second, last night your fans just jumped into the classlessness of Flyers fans, cheering when a player takes a puck to the throat is 100% uncalled for and classless, that coupled with the throwing objects onto the ice; your fans are a joke grow up. Cheering for an injury I really thought you guys had more class than that, that is absolutely disgusting. I want you all to remember that moment when we end up winning this series.

I know not a single one of you care but its classless, enjoy your last win of the year.

Agreed. That said, if the Pens actually wake the hell up and Fleury (or Vokoun) stops treating the puck like the black plague, they could take it, although they may not deserveit. But again, nothing in this series will surprise me at this point.
- jmatchett383

Would'nt surprise me either way, agreed. If Vokoun winds up playing and plays great they can take it. I can also see the Isles go back to Pittsbugh and turn it up another notch. They have finally learned how to win these last couple months and they want this, more so then I've seen in probably twenty years.

Still complaining over officiating? Damn you guys get another gift wrapped present from Marc Andre Freebie and still whine over the refs.

Little girls complain less.

- Sell My Monkey

I think slamming another player's head onto the ice, repeatedly, is rather egregious. If you bother reading most of the posts in these threads for the past week, you'd find that I have no problem with most of the officiating, they have missed a couple of calls, and I even didn't have a big problem with the Strait penalty in Game 3.

I'm just trying to point out that allowing that type of play to go on right in front of a ref in a league where the league officials claim that ridding the sport of concussions is a priority is laughable. Morrow, not that it would matter with his salary, should be fined, at least if the league were serious about preventing head injuries. I'm sure a Pens fan would have been ecstatic if it were Hamonic slamming Malkin's head, repeatedly, to the ice.
Yes, it was Cizikas, my bad.
Hopefully we can get a quick one on Vokoun in 5, get into the Pens head a little more and maybe, just maybe, make Game 6 a possible clincher. The last 3 games have been phenomenal.

That was ridiculous. I'm sure whomever did that got a good ribbing. You can hear on TV that they were getting b!tched out by the rest of the crowd, stupid.

A few idiots act like buffoons and now the whole fan base is filled with bumholes and bad fans? I've never cheered an injury and I've never thrown anything onto the field of play during any sporting event I've been to.

Sure. Just lump the actions of a few (probably drunk) fans to include hundreds of thousands of fans. Makes complete sense.

I certainly hate when fans cheer when someone gets hurt but I'll give you two responses to this:
A. It's not like Crosby went down and lay motionless....he was still skating with his hands by his chin..no one really could have had any idea that it was more than simply getting stung.
B. Spare me the 'now you guys are classless' crap as the EVERY stadium has had fans cheer an opposing player getting dinged including your own, so let's not pretend otherwise.

Not to try to harp on this, because the game's over and done, but this actually happens more often than you'd think. I've been to every Flyer's home playoff game (save the sweep by Boston thanfully) since 2005, and I'd say AT LEAST once per every playoff series, there will be 2 guys going at it, and one player will repeatedly hit the other in the head on the ice. It's the playoffs. It's mean, and nasty, and dirty, and things happen that would be near atrocities during the regular season.

Just read this part now and i have one question for you. Not saying we are taking the series by any means but have you watched the last three games? You're lucky the Pens are'nt down 3-1 in this series. You've been outplyed for the most part. You may be a little over confident?

I was sitting in Sec 218 last night. An Isles fan from the 100s threw a water bottle or something on the ice. About 3 minutes later a PENGUINS fan wearing a Letang jersey 3 rows in front of me threw what I saw was the first BEER bottle on the ice. He was also thrown out for it. There are classless fans everywhere. Even in your fanbase.

There was a poster on the Pens blog yesterday asking for Letang to light Tavares up and hurt him.

Therefore, that entire Penguins fanbase is classless. Every single one of them is a terrible human being because they all want to do nothing but injure the other team's best player. They're all despicable.

See how that sounds?

It's like the pot calling the kettle black. Every fan base does it. I've seen it on TV, almost every other sport, too. There are always gonna be bumholes.

They cheered Michael Irvin on a stretcher at the Vet.
They've unloaded, by the thousands, bottles onto the field in Boston, Cleveland, Toronto, etc.
They chanted "Buy a porsche, Hextall, buy a porsche" after Pelle LIndbergh died in a car accident at the Garden.
Every fan base is filled with jerkoffs...yes...even the Penguins fan base. Even our fan base.

Absolutely incredible. I can actually see them winning this. If they don't you still have to be happy but I really see it happening. All depends on Vokoun at this point

I'm the last person to complain about officiating, and, trust me, especially this time of year, but if the league wants to keep the head injuries to a minimum, they have to stop this kind of poop. If it were the other way around, too.

Of course giving the guy the pro wrestling turnbuckle treatment in an age where the NHL has become quite sensitive about targetting the noggin' it's a bit surprising that there was no call.

The ref's let last night get out of hand by refusing to call anything in the third period. I thought the Isles got the better end of the officating through the first half of the game and the Pens in the second, but that third period was sort of discgraceful. How a ref can watch three guys hold a player in their box why play resumes in the offensive zone is unreal.

I'm being cocky? Wow, you're shot. You said, "enjoy your last win of the season" I started off my post with, "I'm not saying the Islanders are going to win this series by any means" and somehow that translates to me being cocky? Get a grip troll

BTW most of you guys are pretty cool. I have had a great time discussing the games with most of your fanbase. You are a complete tool and make the rest of the Pens fans look bad.

I think they get your point, you are pissed that they cheered when Crosby got hit. These posters were not the ones there cheering, so to group all of these guys and their fan base into the same boat is pretty pathetic, wouldn't you agree.
