The Isles have certainly got the bounces the past couple of games as well. The Hockey gods are looking down on them.
- bixll

The ref's are trying to hold them back... hopefully the Hockey God's will prevail!!!

Should be 3...1 Isles!!!

Vokoun will probably start for the Pens... have to throw everything @ him.

Hopefully chase him from the net too!!!

I may drive down to Long Island this weekend!!!

The last two years the playoffs have not been kind to him. Poor guy....
- phi1671

I have no sympathy for him. He's making $5.5M this season playing in front of a team scoring 4 goals per game. No reason this shouldn't be 3-1 Pens...sadly, there is a better chance it could have been 3-1 Isles.

Also, I still think the Pens will prevail in 6 or 7 because they have JUST ENOUGH top-end offensive talent and experience to weather the storm. That's not taking anything away from the Islanders who have made a statement that they've arrived. But at this point, I wouldn't be shocked is the Isles moved on.

WOW are you serious...it's an opinion shared around the league. Complaining...nope. far from it...read it in the right context.

By all that fans that just lost to the Pens, he is not a diver, get over it. He does not even complain at all any more, people need to find something else to female dog about.

First and foremost, good game you guys out hustled us from the drop of the puck.
Second, last night your fans just jumped into the classlessness of Flyers fans, cheering when a player takes a puck to the throat is 100% uncalled for and classless, that coupled with the throwing objects onto the ice; your fans are a joke grow up. Cheering for an injury I really thought you guys had more class than that, that is absolutely disgusting. I want you all to remember that moment when we end up winning this series.

I know not a single one of you care but its classless, enjoy your last win of the year.

It could have gone either way, it went the Isles way.

calm down buddy...it was one or two drunk idiots throwing something..there are drunk idiots in every building in the country...i won't condone the jeering of crosby..but it wasn't like he was bleeding out on the ice... worry about winning the game and not what our fans are doing

The officiating has been fair to both sides, I think. When they miss calls, they miss them both ways. The series has been fantastic and entertaining to say the least. Gotta think Fleury is out the rest of the way provided Vokoun plays decently. I can't see the Pens going back to Fleury right now.
- Jethro09

The officiating has been poor, but fair in terms of the fact that they blow calls for each side. Need to go with Vokoun if for no other reason than to shake this team up.

You're just like a buddy of mine from college who cheers for the Pens. One or two idiots "cheer" when Crosby took one in the chest and one idiot throws debris on the ice (as if that's never happened in multiple cities in the past) and now all of the sudden the entire Isles' fan base is a joke. Get a clue. Use common sense and stop generalizing. There are millions of Isles fans and there were over 16K of them at the game last night. A few act like idiots and you start painting the entire fan base with a broad brush. That's stupidity.

lets not forget that hamonic was holding morrow stick underneath him......he wasnt 100 percent innocent. The refs let em play.....

YOU CANT TEACH HEART BOYSSSS

- kindlyrick

Yeah he was but the retaliation was ridiculous. To continually smash a players head into the ice is pretty bad. I'm not whining before some Pens troll attacks me bcs it went both ways but smashing a players head into the ice 4 or 5 times directly in front of the ref is bad. I'm just happy he was'nt injured forget about a penalty.

Much like when Caps fans throw bottles on the ice, I think they're plastic, not glass.

Stopped reading here. EVERY fan in EVERY arena in the NHL would've done the same thing. Get off your high horse. Yesterday you were critiquing what we were discussing on our thread and now you're telling us how to behave. Fack off

Agreed. That said, if the Pens actually wake the hell up and Fleury (or Vokoun) stops treating the puck like the black plague, they could take it, although they may not deserveit. But again, nothing in this series will surprise me at this point.
