I'm not arguing nothing... However I will say I've seen Tyler Kennedy look like he was going to be something only to go back to being TK.

I think Strait looks real good. Especially for a waiver wire rookie in his 1st playoffs. You're tough

- lloyd095

Strait is okay, he is what he is which is a depth defensemen. He's taken a few costly penalties, as we all know. We've got several big time dman prospects coming up soon who will make him irrelevant. Reinhart, Mayfield, Pedan, Donovan, (maybe) de Haan. All of those guys are potential top 4 pairing dmen.

As far as Okposo goes, he was projected to be a top line winger when he was drafted and compared to Iginla (probably more race driven). He's shown flashes over time but has seemed to finally found his gear during this series.

I think they will be fine. We don't know his status yet anyway

I will rip this part from your chest with my bare hands!!!!
- Cptmjl

Tough thing my friend but I see the Islanders playing with the heart and soul they are you have to root for them.

Oh and great comment by Nabby last night when asked what he though about the fans? He said he did not know Long Island had it in them

Look I'm not going to sit here and tell you why I cant see the Islanders go far looking at their roster while my team is struggling with them but saying they're a top 3 team seems a bit premature.

They did have the 6 spot with a couple games left I believe. (Maybe they wanted the Pens)

- lloyd095

Who said that? I'm saying they could've contended with Montreal or Ottawa, Toronto though. I think that was the original point?

But will they be able to beat Vancouver in the Finals after they dismantle the WC?

OK I guess... but I wanted Lovejoy dropped before Strait
- lloyd095

Strait has been mediocre at best this series. He had one decent period in game three as far as I'm concerned.

Hey Hey Hey...we've figured out the secret to keeping him healthy...play him 15 games a season!

That said, so many of Radek's injuries over the years were not matters of him being frail but some God awful luck. Never forget when he fell and slid into the boards, hyperextending his knee and finishing him for the year. He always seemd to get hurt playing hard in collision circumstances. It's not like he was pulling hammy's or having hip surgeries ( )

That was in response to this-

I don't blame you guys for being surprised by the Isles play. The entire NHL and media underestimated the Isles all year. This team is better than an 8th place team and with a goalie, we could be top three in the league.

It is so funny though they are keeping DP as far away as possible from this team. It is like he never existed

Yeah Nabby goes right after him. I would not mind him resigning here to be honest. Just wish he picked up the play a tad more

ahhh, I actually agreed but was thinking maybe conference due to it being so tight at the end with Montreal playing not so great.

Well that's not a fair statement. I'd counter with:
"The Flyers are an 11th place team and, with a great goalie, some top-notch defenseman, and a better checking like, could be a Cup Contender."
If if's and but's were...how's that go?

The Isles are maybe a deserving 5 spot in the East, not a top 3 in the league, even with an upgrade in net. In a few years though, they could be.

I am so on board with the Islanders beating the Penguins, I cannot stand that team, cheering so hard for you guys.

but, Isles fans have got to stop throwing crap on the ice when they get pissed, it helps nothing and one of your own players could get hurt.

Throwing stuff happened in the Buffalo series six years ago and it's going on again
