Well next years 1st rounder would obviously be involved. B Schenn + 2014 1st rounder? - JAKEw1234
Does that make any kind of sense? Schenn was as highly regarded in his draft year as almost anyone not named MacKinnon, Drouin or Jones. He's already played a season and a half in the NHL and show flashes of being a very solid player.
Trading him to move up doesn't fill a team need for now, and you may well end up with a player no better than Schenn. |

Already said it and I agree, as JSaq as said unless Columbus calls offers #14 plus another 1st rounder would I move out of the #11 slot. |

I would have no problem moving out of the #11 slot to add another pick plus the #14.
That would be fantastic. |

It'd probably have to be the 11th and the 41st for the 14th & 24th(or whatever pick is higher) |

And Columbus has no reason at all do make the move unless they really want a player and if they do it's possible we don't have to offer any additional pick to slide back while gaining additional selections. |

Yeah, it'd have to be a kid Jarmo really likes sitting at 11. |

They could also use all the picks for their own depth which isn't that deep either. |

The Flyers still will have to figure out a way to upgrade the blue-line. I don't think they should part with the young core unless a trade is too good to pass up on. I would look to get a mobile defenseman even if that player isn't a true #1. |

Follow their draft board.......If they don't grab a D in round 1 they may have the chance to grab Shea Theodore, Madison Bowey, Samuel Morin, or Chris Bigras in round 2.
Even if they do D in round 1 they should still have a shot and these and maybe more at #41 so it's not a must but anything is possible. |

I'm with you completely this team needs to keep all its picks and load up the farm system. |

how fleury won a cup is beyond me. he's terrible. don't think i've ever seen a goalie mishandle pucks and let through squeakers or knock pucks in himself from bad angles. just horrendous. |

yea I find it funny that a goalie playing across from him on two feet with no broken bones in his feet that some here swear up and down is better than what we have, yet isn't faring much better than our guy did last year.
edit: well grace I guess i brought the dumpster after all |

The Pens are getting all they can handle with the Islanders.
They should burry that team but are not looking so hot right now. |

i haven't seen the whole series, but fluery is allowing goals just like he did against the flyers last year. can't imagine nabby is doing worse. |

Fluery hasn't been good. Soft goals being scored. |

Nabby plays such a stand-up hybrid style it's unreal that he can still compete in today's NHL |
