Guy is useless to me and pretty much the Islanders would be better with out him. He is on the second power play unit not the top unit. I believe the Tavares line has more power play goals then the second unit - kasperrko
They also get a minute and a half while the second unit gets 30 seconds. I actually like the second unit's approach better. Not necessarily AMac and Hamonic, but just the general approach. They move and look for paths to the net, rather than standing still and throwing it around the perimeter for a minute before finally deciding to change the angles a bit. |

Ok I will give you that and having MArtin on that line is awesome. I just cant handle MAcdonalds missing the net everytime he shoots. Maybe he needs glasses or something |

Not saying he is just saying he has been pretty awful this year compared to past years. I say another 2 years maybe for him and then he is as good as gone.
Not an assumption they for sure have more goals combined then the second PP unit |

I'd try to trade him this offseason if I could. I can't see him being on the team in 2 years. Amac's role is "shutdown" but Mayfield and Pedan most likely will play those roles in 2 years

Glad I read this as I was about to write the exact same thing. One of the tricks to getting a good shot off from the point is for both dmen to be moving in tandem together rather than stretching their passes to a player waiting to unload. Rob Blake was great at doing this. |

Yep..seems like a lifetime ago. I also remember when Streit could track down an iced puck if he had a headstart on other players. Now he lets up at the blueline and watches opponents blow right past him.
Like a few other players in the past, the move this teams overall skill level improves, the less sufficient Streits skill level seems. |

The rules say you can't judge if you are the target of the comeback. Didn't you ever learn this? |
