MTL has won 2 of the last 3 series in which they were down 1-2, and 3 of their last 5.

It was classless on both teams parts.

But ya, the habs crumbled.

Habs have a team built for the rules. The rules were shrugged last night by the refs and this is what happened. The habs knew the game was lost and took liberties for sure. 5 decisive lost fights? Moen lost, and white for sure. But the cube held his own imo that was a draw he connected with a solid right.

So the Habs play was ALL because of the rules being shrugged by the Sens. Gotcha

Habs need to get bigger. So when it is okay to play outside of the rules they don't get stampeded.

And Price needs to stop sliding around the net and flopping.

very luongo-like.

Yo lads!!!

Damn work has taken over my life and removed my HB time. So unreasonable!!!!

Just a quick recap to make sure I'm up to speed:

- Boston in 6, but maybe Leafs in 6 or perhaps Boston in 5?
- Habs beat themselves yesterday and took care of all the classless acts long before Maclean called a timeout?
- Nucks suck?
- Gallager (sp? cause I kinda don't care) for Calder
- Kadri is a bust but not always, but mostly sometimes?

I miss anything?

Meaningless stats are meaningless. You don't need history to know that 2-1 series leads are insurmountable.

It was frustration from being slammed on the scoreboard

The scoreboard probly would of read differently had methot got 50% of the penalties he deserved and the crosschek 30 seconds in

Really doesn't excuse montreal's reaction

I think we are all aware of this and agree.

Happy to see general consensus from most of the fanbase.

Gotta say, Therien is the one to blame imo. He's let Maclean get in his, and his players heads. The habs aren't built for a physical game....Therien should focus his efforts on getting his guys to play habs hockey (fast paced with skill), instead of the brand of hockey (if you can call it that) that was on display last night.

Just a homer Leafs fan's opinion.

You will be required to back read if you want to figure it out. I don't recommend it.

Good recap!

Glad to see you at least make an appearance around here, hopefully the Leafs can thrash the Bruins tonight!

gotta keep running into Chara, keep hitting him, if it slows him down and puts him even an extra half second behind the play; that opens up ton of space.

But they can't let those shots from the slot happen as many times as it did on Saturday. The fact that Reimer stopped all of those types of shots is ridiculous.

Montreal let their emotions get the better of them. Saying the score might of been different
if and but is silly.

Agreed. He's done amazing for you guys, but he's been out-coached in these 3 games.

the scoreboard would have read differently had plekanec, ryder, desharnais, pacioretty, glachenyuk, prust shown up to play.
