Feel absolutely terrible for Luongo - what a garbage way to treat the guy. Plays good in games 1 and 2, then AV Swaps in Schneider for Game 3 because, hey, Schneider will help you score more goals (duh).

Then to ask Luongo to play Game 4 (if they do)? Complete and utter joke. You guys need a different coach in there who will whip these guys into shape.

Well I'm glad that's over (almost), there's no way they're coming back from a 3-0 deficit. Hopefully we see some big changes this summer, surely to God Mike Gillis can see it's badly needed.

Glad I picked Pavelski and Couture in the playoff pool

Glad to see you've come over to the dark side.

You should. He's probably having a more difficult time saving for his familys future, providing them with the best life has to offer now, and is likely faced with retiring beyond age 65. He probably wont even be able to live off his retirement savings.

Guys like you are the exception. Guys like me and Luongo, we have alot more to worry about and a lot more struggles. We appreciate your concern and pity, as well as your all encompassing compassion, but we'll manage. Somehow.

We have been saying that since AV couldn't figure out how to roll / pull goalies in the 2011 run. Thanx for noticing.

Really? Has he signed?

edit: My bad. He's signed.

I'm with you, though. He's expendable.

Like Loungo stated last night "couple of guys playing their hearts out". Enough said, we get it.

This years Canuck team is easily better than the 2011 Hawks - and that Sharks team you're facing is no where near as good as the 2011 Canucks. Get some goaltending, Have Kesler do his best Toews impression and put the fear of a reverse sweep into the Sharks heads.

canucks might need to take a page out of the sharks book, addition by subtraction
clowe and murray out.... and they are up 3-0 on the canucks

Who would you have as "Clowe" and who is "Murray"?

on a side note, what kind of odds can you still get on the Sharks to win the Cup?

what is it now...

Hawks in '10, Bruins in '11 and Kings in '12?

If the deals there for Cory you make it, in my opinion.

Lu is fine for another 4-5 years at least. Deal with the problem down the road.

- IanEsplen

Will lou even want to stay after all that has happened? I think that bridge is burnt by now.Moving Cory would be the best move if possible, just my 2 cents.

As you should be. Just not to me. The man in the mirror is who you should be directing this at. But hey, if you have any spare time today, feel bad for Luongo.

Only a few people likely know that answer. I think if you get a new coach and deal Schneider he would give it a go.

Vancouver is a pretty nice city and I think deep down he does like playing there. Give him a chance to play and a chance to win, I bet you he'd be fine.

So Schneider gets thrown into action in a pivotal game 3 on the road, down 2-0, by a desperate coach, after missing weeks of games/practice due to an injury/illness (which he probably hasnt recovered from), and gets lit up... so now we should trade him?

It took Luongo YEARS of LEGIT meltdowns in perfect health for you people to finally come to that point with him... Why so quick to turn on Schneider?

SCHNEIDER STAYS.

Trading the better, younger, cheaper goaltender isn't in the best interest of this team moving forward no matter what the return for either. As I said two TDLs ago, the best return we can hope for Luongo considering the term of his contract is getting him off our books.

Learning from history maybe?

But seriously, you're telling me that if the Jets said Kane for Schneider and Ballard that you wouldn't listen?

I'm sure he's furious with the organization but the guy wants to play and he knows there's not a lot of demand out there for him. I think if Vancouver gave him the net back all would be forgiven.
