I would tell all these players that we are moving towards a younger team and trade them all.
Ryan Kesler - would bring a great return!
Alex Edler - talented but no drive or passion.
Kevin Bieksa - would bring a decent return.
Janick Hansen - package him with one of the above.
Cory Schneider - would bring a very good return. (stick with Lu)
Get rid of:
Booth
Ballard
Weise
Let these players walk:
Raymond
Lapierre
Pinizzotto
Roy
Barker
Alberts - LeftCoaster
Edler would be on your let them walk list. Pending UFA. |

Really? Has he signed?

I'm with you, though. He's expendable. |

I've been saying it now for the better part of 2+ seasons. AV needs to go. The Canucks are a very undisciplined team and that comes straight from the head coach. Perhaps this is the offseason that this finally happens.
I, however, don't think they should have a complete blow up for this team. - CaptainBlackhawk

I think AV is the best coach in the league.
Therefore, I hope Vancouver fires him. |

At least summer is here. - Marwood
That and the fact that my job often keeps me working late, so I'd be missing games anyways, are the only solace I have in this. Pretty terrible way to end a season. |

He'd do wonders for your no-talent line up, that's for sure. Just give him a goalie and he'll grind you some wins. |

Ya, saw that. What an overpayment
My son was being born at the time of his signing. Totally missed it.

If you're going to do that, it's only fair to tell the Sedins the same. Why would they stick around for a rebuild at their age? |

Vancouver will go nowhere in the playoffs until the idiots Burrows Bieksa and Lapiere stop their act of cowardice and start to play tough hockey. Spearing Couture, slamming him into the boards 5 secs after the play is over is not going to win you games. These guys need to figure out they are only hurting the team with their antics. All of the powerplays SJ got last night were warranted and when your differential is -7 in powerplays you prob won't win many games. |

cuz they could care less if they won a cup or not |

Exact same thing Canucks were saying during last year's loss to LA.
- aeberg
Actually, I believe Bieksa's words were (down 3-0 in the series) "we got them right where we want them"
Here's his chance for a repeat |

"We felt Lou was playing great, to be honest with you," Sharks captain Joe Thornton said of Luongo. "We felt lucky we didn't have to play against him. When we shot tonight, we made it count, and it was big that we did."

This x10. As an organization I like Vancouver, but over the last few years your players are so arrogant and gutless it makes the 29 other teams in the league hate you. Same with the habs after last night. Embarassing. Changing your roster would do you guys a ton of good, I'm not here to troll but watching the Canucks and habs get rocked brings a huge smile to my face. I hate the ottawa organization more than MTL but am cheering hard for the sens. Vancouver and Montreal are classless right now and no one feels sorry for you. |

There was a good return for Lou in the summer from Toronto before the draft and Lou said no to the trade thinking Florida was banging on the door. NTC can come back to bite you. Not just term and money that "suck" about his contract. - StevenStiller
Unless I'm mistaken, Dough MacLean was the only guy reporting that.
He's not particularly accurate. |
