Yep. I agree - requester47
It is biting us in the ass. Two year later it is time for payback
CBC snubs Canucks
Burrows most penalties
Clamp down on back sliding contracts
Canucks don't get the penalty that should have been called .
Payback is a female dog
I didn't even get into the facts of making a goalie a captian and placing the C on his mask seeing it is not allowed on the jersey or LTIR to abuse the salary cap.
There is a reason they don't like us |

Anyone heard the rumor that Corey didnt play game 1 and 2 because he had an anxiety or panic attack at the end of the season? He has been known to have this issue. I hope its not the case. |

If his panic attacks are that sever then he should be the one being moved . He was out the last two games of the regular season also .
I suffer panic attacks also and they usually last for hours not days . So I don't really buy that. |

Either way I think Cory should be the one that he's moved. He'll bring a better return than Luongo will and the Canucks will still have an excellent goalie.
People can argue about which goalie is better, but I don't think there's much difference between the two. Wouldn't it be better to hav Luongo + the return for Schneider than Schneider + the minimal (if anything) return for Luongo?

We make our own beds
We call out the Refs
We snub the CBC
We bite and pull hair
The NHL has even clamped down and labeled them Kesler like dives and Luongo like contracts.
Burrows had more 2 min penalties than any other player in the league.
We yap and chirp . Bieksa's new installment was priceless. We need to shut up and go out and play.
We need to face the facts the NHL does not like Vancouver - VANTEL
Exactly. Reality means nothing - perception trumps all. Even if other teams are doing the same poop more than the Canucks, talking about it is not going to help you one bit. Shut up and play harder. The comment from Bieksa was almost as dumb as Lu saying he could have stopped that one goal in the cup finals.

I'm pretty sure Lou is gone.
Edit: that's Lou's condo for sale, but they took down the listing for some reason...maybe you are right, he's not being traded. |

Maybe he's just upgrading to something bigger?
It's a shame that Luongo will be leaving, he's a class act and great goalie. He doesn't deserve the treatment he gets from the team. |

If his panic attacks are the reason for his absence then I don't anticipate any other teams willing to trade assets for someone who will be unpredictable.
And I'm not comparing panic attacks/anxiety to depression, but the Canucks have made a concerted effort to bring awareness to health related issues (see mindcheck.ca, Rick Rypien)
I think it would be counter-productive and a bit hypocritical for them to trade a player because he has problems like this. |
