Either team that comes out of that series is not winning the cup

Ryan Clowe most likely a go tonight. Am I the only one that thinks this is a huge addition to our lineup going forward in the playoffs. I personally think this guy is going to (frank) up Erskine.

Going forward in the playoffs basically means tonight. They win tonight, the series is there for the taken. They lose tonight they are cooked.

I agree 100%. Clowe is going to help tremendously and I'm waiting for someone to mess that clown Erskine up. Cally had a nice hit on him last game in the corner

Erskine's a pretty tough guy/solid fighter.

Huge. I think the Rangers forecheck gets that much better tonight which hopefully means more puck possession which would then hopefully mean less attack zone time for the Caps. Probably wont work out that way but who knows.

He did cross check him though. It was pretty blatant. Nothing will come of it.its anazing how whenever the Pens get exposed they resort to crap like that and nobody says a peep. So when Torts went on his rant about them last year he just stated what everyone not in Pittsburgh already thinks.

They gotta bottle what they did in the 3rd period of game 3. Easily the best period of the series for them.

Agreed. I thought the Caps were in great shape heading into the 3rd period of Game 3 if they could stay out of the box, but the Rangers carried play 5 on 5 for the first time in the series and deserved the win. Hope the 3rd period of Game 3 was a fluke

Lets not lose sight of the fact that Clowe best games in his career from a production standpoint ha been in the playoffs. His game is made for this tournament.

A healthy Clowe will definitely help the Rangers. I still think Staal shouldn't be playing, though. With that kind of injury, I think they should have shut him down for the year.

Nice - seriously, though, I guess it's up to the player. Hate to see a guy potentially risk his vision.

It was treated as a medical decision all this time. The doctors involved cleared him. Ovie is that you?

I don't think they would play him if he was risking further injury to the eye. Now, obviously not being able to see at 100% can create the risk of other injuries, but I am assuming he is comfortable enough with that to play. Who knows, although the Rangers are generally pretty conservative with injuries, especially after the first Staal concussion issue.

Staal's great when he's healthy - he didn't strike me as being a huge factor the other night, but mabye he will be moving forward.

I noticed it looked like he did struggle but improved as the game went on. I'd look for steady improvement. He just takes so much pressure off of the other guys on D
