No it doesn't but it's minutes the Caps aren't in our zone

Last night showed what a sieve Holtby can be, get the puck to the net and he's to be had

- cranford93

That's what really drove me crazy last night, yeah the Rangers were ok on the power play, but 5 on 5 was a poop show. The caps held the play for minutes at a time.

And this is why Toronto fans deserve zero respect and they'll always be hated

They cycled the Rangers to death and for large portions of time. Credit to the Rangers for bending but not breaking. Three defensive shots that led to three goals last night. Not one shot attempt for the forwards went in.

Rangers forwards need to press the blue line better but their down low positioning was pretty good last night.

Wow, no need to use that rally cry. Even Leafs fans have to squirm at the site of that.

I actually missed the game last night, stuck at work very late but I came home and watched it afterward and I have to say they stepped up big time in the 3rd. It was a great effort, showed a lot of heart.

I hope so, that would be huge. I think Clowe is really gonna help us. It seemed like Powe got a concussion or something, he looked woozy so unfortunately we may not see him for a few games, too bad he's been really good on the PK for us. Clowe stepping into his spot would be nice.

He may have been stepping into Pyatts spot but it looks like its going to be Powe's....those depth moves have come in handy. You can always bench Pyatt for Kreider...

Clowe can help on the PK, which is why he fits better for Powe, assuming he is healthy enough to go. We rip on Pyatt, but he very strong last night on the forecheck.

Yes, and to be fair he was very very good for Phoenix last season during their run.

I didn't think Pyatt was bad last night either. Seems like an easy decision now, Clowe comes in for Powe.

pyatt does a lot of the little things like the boardwork. his boardwork led to asham's goal i believe.

Funny how things tend to work out...not that you want Powe hurt, but you wonder if this was going to be the lineup anyways...

Try and work on it Glen

Dare I say that DZ is turning into the Dubi of the blue line?

- cranford93

DZ is becoming like the modern version of James Patrick.

Rangers fans always have to have one blueliner that is the object of their scorn. Recent vintages include, Marek Malik, Michael Rozsival, Wade Redden, and now, Michael Del Zotto.

Pyatt was awful on the Green goal, was completely lost as to where the puck was.

MDZ created that whole nightmare by waiting for the puck to come to him rather than getting it. It created the forecheck chance and scramble. Way too many open gaps up top by forwarding collapsing last night and too many shots 15-20 feet below the blue line.
