i can't believe the Rangers actually scored 4 goals in a playoff game, they just blew my mind. When Hank gives up 3 it usually means they lose. I am not counting on 4 goals again for Wed.
Give Nash credit, we were killing him, he played better in the 3rd despite missing that shot on the rush. Maybe, just maybe that will loosen those 2 up (Stepan I am talking about) |

It really is a shame that McD won't get an assist on that last goal. Great game boys! |

I don't think I know enough about hockey anymore. Regardless, I thought the Rangers did a lot of good things. They were better on the PP. They were hitting. They got bodies to the net (see the Stepan goal). They were still a little loose on D but Hank was strong as he almost always is.
Bottom line is Rangers scored four and they cashed in on the PP. They looked much more like the Rangers team I expect. But again, I'm beginning to to think I don't know anything about the game. - gkmkiller
3rd period was best and most gutsy of the year. They really showed the heart like we've been craving |

Win is a wiin, but man they need to correct major problems and score on the power play. Lundvist, Brassard and Stralman were very good. |

Crosby looked like a professional actor compared that Ovie sell job
Pathetic how he got away with that |
|

|
Great Kill, they gave the Caps nothing, did Hank even have to make a save - Blueshirts4ever
Nope but that collapsing style is not going to work the rest of this series. Caps defense is active and they have wide open shots. |

Thats whats great about sports though isn't it? You just don't know whats going to happen. That second they spent way too much time in their own zone......again. I understand why they defend around their net from a conceptual standpoint, however, I do think they need to do something to disrupt Green, when he gets the puck in space he is another sniper. Unusual talent and he needs to be dealt with better |

They did score on the pp.
It's highs and lows Tom. They were terrible at times tonight but they had heart all 3rd period tonight.
I think they adjusted finally . Caps couldn't anything going besides a deflected goal |

Whoa, will you please (frank)ing stop gviing the (frank)ing puck to Ribeiro, he doesn't (frank)ing shoot. What the (frank) is wrong with these (frank)ers. Lazy back check by Backstrom, miscue by Green..two goals that shouldn't have happened. Wake the (frank) up.

That was the PK down 2 men, they had to collapse then. |

Yost and I were just talking about the Rangers didn't even worry about the possibility of shooting. Very odd. |

Yes out shot at home in a must win game when they had six power plays |

It was all game, not just at the end. Caps defense plays a major role in their attack and that collapsing defense is not working too well against it. |
