This is why I think cappy is NOT a good coach. It seriously boggles my mind how Grabner, one of the Isles best weapons, is playing a limited role in this series. - NewYawkIslandez
We are going to be stuck with cappy for a few more years. Playoffs for the first time in 6 years = an automatic extention. |

Is it Cappy or Weight that is the difference in the team? |

Neither. I think it is the players maturing. |

They still require guidance. I am still shaking my head that JT is not the Captain of the team. I have yet to see the Captain of this team act like it. No media appearances. Others but not him. He is the quietest Captain in the League, by a mile. |

Since they couldn't pay him anymore they pretty much just gave him the team |

I understand how he became an owner. Sid will have far more cash than Mario. So mant endorsment deals.. So much cash. |

Now that Okposo is in Beast mode, I think if we make a package trade for a legit 1st line winger, Bailey is now the one to be moved.

I dont think you move either of those guys honestly. They are a big part of team chemistry and have helped the resurgence of the Isles this year. I think in order to make a trade this year, one of the most valuable pieces is our 1st round pick. We have enough top level prospects in the system, its time to trade the pick and get at least one impact player in here to take the team to the next level. |

But assuming Brad Boyes and Keith A. aren't resigned, we only have 2 spots for fowards open. 1 will be RS and that leaves 1 for Nelson and Nino
Unless Strome is in BP and we keep Nelson and Nino, someone is going to be traded, and its going to either be Bailey or nino, or both |

Why by that logic does someone have to be traded?

Nino, while he is at his highest trade value. He does not want to be here, from the reports. He is playing well at the worlds. It will not affect the team chemistry.
RS will be on the team next year. You guys are in a great place at the moment. You are becoming a good team; still with lots of pieces to move. Right on Grath. |
