Yup he was one I know I mentioned often that I hoped he would have been at #20. I can say I have at least 15 to 20 players I like at least in this draft so for me odds are I won't be disappointed unless I felt it was a really big reach. (like the Kings taking Thomas Hickey #4 in 2007 kind of reach)

Well honestly if they don't add a defenseman I hope it's a winger, and at some point in the later rounds a goalie. We lack up and coming wingers. Akeson shows promise to me, but he's one of the few. They rated our youth system as "worst in the league" at the beginning of this season :D. Maybe it's cause all of our best youth is in the NHL now.

I agree with you. There's not a lot of guys that would really upset me.

I absolutely hated those silver-tint logos. So horrible. I'd actually be quite content with the jerseys now, but only if they added a black alternative. Not like the 07-10 ones, but almost a black spin-off of our jerseys now. If they got those and wore them on every occasional home game, I'd be happy. Also, other teams occasionally wear their winter classics, I wish we would wear them on the odd occasion as well. I really like those jerseys.

We need overall system depth at all spots, it's why I know myself and many have suggested they keep many picks (if not all) and add to our system to make it a strength for us going forward.

I like many of the forwards that may end up in the 20's than I do some that will go maybe even in the top 10 to 19. But that's probably because I wasn't all that impressed by them when I saw them play.

Well what I saw of a few fell right in line with the scouting reports. But yes it's for me a limited sample size.

I also like what I've seen from others like Rychel, Lazar, and Dic-kinson (Guelph)

Ya I hate the old black ones too. I want them to make new black ones to be used as alternates. Here, I made a little example real quick of what I'd generally like them to look like. Not like the new ones, not like the old ones. Their own thing. An alternate to be used after every handful of home games played with the regular ones.

I'm not a fan of black jerseys/uniforms. It's the Orange and black, not the black with orange trim.

Well actually, even though die hard flyers fans bleed orange, orange is a really minor part of the actual logo. The logo has always decided the color of the jersey, but our logo is like 95% black, and the orange is a really small part of it. It wouldn't be our primary jersey, though, it'd just be an alternate so then we'd have 3 colors. Many teams have 3 jerseys, usually one that uses their primary color primarily (home), one that uses their secondary color primarily (away), and one that uses their tertiary color primarily (alternate). I don't see why not. It'd look nice, it'd draw more jersey sales, it'd look nice

Well over half of the teams in the NHL have had some sort of black jersey (whether home or third) since the 90's. Yuck. Still hate the switch of having them wear darks at home and whites away.

It's a simple matter of the Flyers being "The Orange and the Black," not "Black with a little bit of Orange." I was not overly fond of the 90's - 00's black jerseys compared to the orange ones they replaced and I don't want to see the team go that way again.
