Right up until the kid wants 6 million a year to play along side Suter and you can't afford to pay him. At that point, Nashville will steal him from you.

Yes, because historically, Nashville is known for spending big on free agents.
Get over it, amigo. You guys are turning into the insane ex gf who refuses to accept that it's over...
I get that Nashville fans are pissed with Suter, and have every right to be, but to heckle the Wild and come in here with all this negativity is about as classless as it gets.

Wow it must suck to be so bitter. The fat lady may be warming up to do her solo for the Wild, but at least they made it to the dance... By the way, I noticed Webers name wasn't mentioned in the Norris trophy conversation this season... That's too bad. At least he got the biggest contract! <

Don't forget, he was a -2 as well... you know, the most important stat ever

If Pommer, Heatley and Backstrom were playing we'd be up 2-0!

Definetly better series with them, Heats a fast sniper would make a world of differance. Wish you guys where 100%. Rivalry not off to the best start, maybe next year when you`r fully loaded we can pound you out. Just teasin`
How can the GREAT STATE OF HOCKEY only muster less than 50 quotes every blog? 200 mil. should BUY more than that. Next few years will be VERY interesting.

Just teasin'

That surely hurt when Suter left, like getting the shaft up the backside. Then an even more classless move (IMO) by Holmgren in Phil. giving 10 mil to Webs, in belief they couldn`t match. Nash. had to save face here and match. QUESTION: Do you believe offer sheets to RAF`s are going to be the next semi classless thing to do? We have alot riding on this off season, it does not look good for Chicago resinging our F/As.

This off season? What about the next two off seasons? The stars are in perfect alignment for Chicago this season, but it's not like they're at risk of losing anyone that isn't replacable going into next season. But the following season is going to be a bit tougher IMO because they have to start worrying about re-signing Toews and Kane. And what about Saad? Chicago definitely has some tough decisions to make in the next 3 years. Is there any scenario where you see them possibly moving Kane after next season?

It really starts this July 1st, Overpay one and MATCH another then in 2/3 years we`re screwed Three players with trade clauses attached will be hard to move. Kane would not be on my radar to move, unless a couldn`t refuse trade was given Thing is we have two holes to fill, 2nd line center going on almost three full years now, since Bolland has proven he is a #3 but at 3+mill he`s gone. 2nd. a quality #1 PROVEN goalie. Crow could fill it BUT still on/off play keeps us guessing. Most people think in 3 years cap goes up to 70mill. HOPE it does for both our teams we`ll need the space.

Yep, certainly would be beneficial for both. I dont' see them moving Kane unless his play were to start dropping off, but I'm sure that isn't going to happen. What about Sharp? He's taking a pretty big bite out of the cap pie for another what, 4 seasons?! And what about Seabrook? Is he worth the $6 million he's due for the next several seasons? Especially when they're paying Keith a kings ransom. It seems like Chicago has room to move some players without losing any key players or upsetting the balance of offense and defense too much.

Brad must have gone to the game. It's about time this team nutted up and played some hockey. Nice win, if not for the stellar play of Crawford that score would have been much more lopsided. Wild came out with a purpose and played 3 periods of solid hockey.

They had some great stretches throughout the game where they looked phenomenal, but also did their usual prevent D to try and closeout the game with a 1-0 lead. Can't tell you how frustrated I am with Yeo, when this type of passive play has burned them all year long. Keep the foot on the gas and close these games out you female dog

Good physical game by the Wild today, a total non response by the Hawks in that area and im not to sure why but I expected to lose this one but I do not expect to lose game 4 so hopefully we get more pucks on net because we did not shoot enough, IMO we handed this game to you guys on a platter.

The Hawks handed the Wild nothing, the Wild simply took what they rightfully earned as a result from a hard fought battle. If you want to claim you have the best team in the NHL, this is not a viable excuse, it's a cop out. This is what I really enjoy about some Hawks fans. It's never the other team outplaying them, it's always the Hawks not playing well or doing enough. The Wild came out as a desperate team and played as such. The fact that the Wild stepped up their tenacity and sense of urgency should not be chalked up to the Hawks not having a response or simply not playing well, the Hawks were simply out hit, out shot, out chanced and out played.

I realize it's difficult for some Hawks fans to own up to what amounts to a plain and simple loss, but please, I look on the Hawks blog and all I see is excuses that minimize the Wild efforts, whether it be pointing fingers at the officiating, soft goals, coaching descisions or the Hawks simply not playing well. The Wild deserve all the credit for winning yesterdays game. Had the Wild capatalized on any of the many chances they had to put the Hawks away in game one, this series could easily be 2 - 1 in the Wild favor instead of the other way around.

Be that as it may, the Wild could have easily lost yesterday in the same manner they lost game one, Keiths tying goal late in the third was proof enough of that when the Wild got a little too relaxed on a slow and lazy line change at a critical time of the game that virutally rendered them a man short in that sequence allowing him to skate in the zone wide open for a pass, unguarded with a clear shooting lane in close proximity to the net.

That's what can happen in a close hockey game, especially playoff hockey when mistakes are made. I've had no problem recognizing and admitting Chicago is clearly the higher skilled team, but it's time for Hawks fans to give credit where credit is due, and just for once own up to a loss without all the cliche excuses, although there haven't been many to own up to this season, so I'm sure you're out of practice.

I have no illiusion that after yesterdays game the Wild are going to somehow roll over the Hawks and win this series, but at least for yesterday, for the better part of 60 minutes, the Wild were the better team.
