Okay, so you're a victim? I believe it was you who provided the Steam quote and mentioned brooms, no?

well i mean cmon im a ranger fan and you guys are isles fans, its all in good fun haha.

im just using the same logic as you. he gave up 1 soft goal in the first game of the playoffs this year so he's a career choker. tavares...did he even have a shot in game 1? well regardless if he did have 1, he didn't do anything either in the first game of this year's playoffs so he's also a career choker.

- rangerdanger94

yes he's a career choker... ya got us.. bye!

He is kidding we all know what is going to happen

I'm interested to see what JT does after game 1. He was clearly targeted and will be again but if he's a top player he needs to make things happen regardless. He looked rattled in game 1. If he doesn't figure out playoff hockey the Isles have little chance.

Sometimes I read stuff in life, statements by people, and I have this compelling urge to find out how they're so confident in their position. My guess is Kaspar is confident because of this:

So he played with a slightly better team...that gets you in. As for Tavares being a choker...really? One career playoff game and he's a choker? We've seen Hank fail in big playoff games many times before....I think I'll wait until JT has had at least 2 or 3 series before labeling him.
- keaner17

this year's team might be better but i'm talking about the teams before last year. he consistently got us to the postseason with straight garbage in front of him.

You didnt just report that Crosby is back in the lineup.. you trolled

oh come on a friendly jab shouldn't be considered trolling.

Fixed the above paragraph...

Did you watch the game? Yes, he was pressing in his 1st Playoff game but it wasnt like he had open looks and shots... The Pens defense collapsed on him every time he touched the puck.

- Bags502

i stand by the fact that a goal given up on a 1 on 0 breakaway (and yes it was a 1 on 0 breakaway, he was at least a full stride ahead of the last defensemen and they could hardly get a stick on him) shouldn't be considered a soft goal.

its a bit crazy to think that this could happen but after a 5-0 drubbing, ill take a little switch up on there side of things...lets hope hes a step slower or timid to get hit...even MORE reason to get carkner in the lineup, if for nothing else than than pure intimidation

So if he got them there with "straight garbage" in front of him... Why can't he win/stop soft goals with "straight garbage" in front of him? He is, you know the best in the world!

I know its not the same thing.. the ONLY reason the 93 Islanders beat the Pens was because Turgeon got knocked out in the first round, that team came together and played as a unit... the only reason the lost to the Habs in the conf (Not to take ANYTHING away from Roy) finals was because Turgeon came back & the TEAM waited for him to lead the charge but he was a shell of himself.
Im not saying this will happen to the Pens... but it can disrupt the flow none the less.

thanks for proving my point that hank has had no talent in front of him for the majority of his playoff career.

he's put up good personal numbers but doesn't have the wins because he can't score goals himself.

As we've seen in the past, it's easy to negate a talented player.....like Detroit did to Sid in the Finals a few years ago. That's when you need other players to step up.

I know you are smarter than this post I just quoted. Only way Hank leaves is if he gets traded.

He's not getting traded.

I don't see a confirmation of that yet...
Staple said Isles on ice for skate: 51,12,41,6,13,36,16,37,7,4,52,14 and all three goalies. Looks to me like it's just a collection of no one in particular
