But only one of those goal looked "stoppable." I would have happily taken him over Reimer- not sure if it would have been the difference though as you pointed out.

I thought someone would say, "JVR scored last night, that must piss some Flyers fans off"

Nope, we're happy for him and we like Schenn. Worked out well for both teams thus far

Anyways, best of luck.

I hate the bruins. Tough series for me to wish either a victory. But man was last night annoying. Everything the leafs did last night was their first in 9 years according to simpson

To soon to start talking about what the leafs need this offseason after a quick exit from the playoffs?

hopefully JVR keeps up the production and gets us 30-35 goals and 55-60 points next season.

Thanks.
I wonder if he'd try right wing.

Line 1- JVR Bozie Kessel
Line 2- Grabo Kadri Lupul (Or reverse wingers if Grabo is up for it.)

Grabo played with a solid hop in his step and should be rewarded imo.
That leaves

Line 3- MacAthur McClement Kulie
Line 4- Orr Colborne Komarov

Thoughts?

It might be too late in the season to make a rash decision like moving Grabovski to the wing. I'm not sure how effective he would be along the wall, kindof how Kadri was when we was parked on the wing. Natural centremen thrive up the middle. It would also form more of a top 6 heavy lineup. If the top 2 lines don't score, we lose.

I understand that we want to get Grabo going but it seems like Kadri and Lupul can get it done. We'll probably end up switching it back to MacArthur-Grabo-Frattin as our 3rd line

I see you listen to Brady and Lang in the morning.
- Fakepartofme

Just for the record I don't. Usually listen to the edge or just CDs/MP3s in the morning.

I do believe that though, the you aren't in trouble until you lose one at home. I mean, the Leafs are in trouble because they are playing the Bruins but specifically with the series score you aren't in trouble yet. The Bruins would be in more trouble losing that first one then we would be because then we have two games at home.

His experience really did pay off.

He looked to be one of the few Leafs who showed up to play post-season hockey.

Ference is such a fackin dirty p-r-i-c-k. Will be about an hour-hour and a half until we hear the verdict.

With how bad our dmen played last night. What is the chance of Gardiner seeing time sometime this series? Against a team like Boston I think we could use a guy that skate it out of trouble.

Gunnarsson - Phaneuf

Fraser/Gardiner - Franson

Gardiner/Liles - O'Byrne/Liles

I like Fraser, he should be in the lineup but I think that was the worst game I've seen him play all season. Hopefully he bounces back

Kostka should be out. Possibly his last game as a Leaf

That's a better line for what it's worth.

Kadri-Lupul combo is good, but they haven't clicked since coming back from that head-banger.

JVR Bozak Kessel should remain intact.

Defense must change. That was the worst part about last night. First pass out was, what, 20% or something? It was embarrassing. Koska needs to sit, indefinitely. Liles needs to be partnered with O'Berne (sp) and maybe try Gardiner.

Agree on the top line Center and dmen.

I dont know how we are going to get another top 5 pick to get a center . This team needs a Getzlaf/Giroux/Datsyuk in the worst way

I have no idea where to start with the D.

Solid points.
I agree it's pretty late for changes. RC shouldn't have tampered yesterday. Really screwed us over in my opinion.
But I think Grabo might excel at wing. He's fast and isn't afraid to play the wall.
I can't say I know for sure, since I dont think he's ever done it before, but you never know, really. And he might be really good with Kadri. And Lupul. Those two can make anyone they play with look good, on one of their good nights. I think it's a bad time now, but i'd look into it for next season.

And good point about the top-heavy. I had that in mind.
We had a lot of trouble being defensive last night and I thought the bottom two lines would be stable. I think if RC does the match-game McClement would be a good man to have when Jagr is on the ice. Kadri simply can't do it.
And our 4th line was outplayed by theirs so adding Colborne could hopfully give us a boost there.
