Montreal news is slow out in Edmonton, but with my expeirence with concussions and other injuries, they will have to wait for the swelling to go down before they can properly evaluate it.

Dear Ms NHL,

Are blind side hits a problem in the NHLs eyes?

Are they not more of a player safety concern then a head on hit to the head?

Does the NHL really want to protect their players from Concussions or is it just a farce for the blind public?

I agree, other leagues have gone to any contact to head is punishable.

I dont think the NHL or anyone else has a clue how to really protect the players, because we dont know the damage thats being done to the players.

If it is a Lupul grade Concussion, a couple of days, if it is Crosby Grade then the second round.

I agree. It is a contact sport. You have to be able to accept that sometimes there will be bad injuries that come from participating in and watching a contact sport.
