I noticed that too. They stopped playing, probably frustrated by how badly they were outplayed. Happened to me on Tuesday night beer league...black team just couldn't make a pass

but that was what the 2nd when JVR hit the post?

you wanna be on the pk you have to be in defensive positioning 1st, offensive 2nd

he went up for an offensive opportunity thats fine, time to get bakc now

They get in trouble when they don't do fundamental things properly, like get the puck in deep, get the puck out of their own end, get it past the Dman at the blueline etc.

Extra day off will make a big difference. RC will have a chance to really hammer home important points.

Who does Boston have to replace Farence with?

I assume he'll be getting 1 game, but in all honesty that should be 2 or 3

I am really starting to wonder again... how long has it been since he was productive? I hope we aren't see the usual Kadri collapse... just a version of it delayed a little longer.

I really wish he would just shut his mouth about winnable series' and then come out and be invisible.

He's so inconsistent.
As for quote....thats no big deal....what was he suppose to say...."no we are going to lose".

It is a winninable series if the leafs play like they have in the past.

Got a real bone to pick with the Leafs PP.

They really need to stop being so prety with it on the point. If you're going back to the point it's for the purpose of a shot.

If we fix anything in relation to the shot count it's on the PP

Yeah not cool for a rookie to come out and say that IMO.

There's a lot of things that need to be improved. The short passes were awful.

If they can at least keep game 2 as a 1 goal game then they'll be able to come back home having made some sort of improvement

He has had a couple stints before where he started strongly then disappeared.

Clearly the kids has talent he has proven that.

Kadri has been pretty ineffective for a month now.

I just wanna see shots to the net on the PP.

For god's sake how many times does this team have to see its PP get nothing done because they try for the prettiest play. Get JVR in front and wire it on net.

Unfortunately, I find that hard to believe at this point. I mean, we have a pretty large sample size by now. The disturbing thing is that there were many more forwards other than Kessel who also simply showed no jam last night.

Could be Aaron Johnson too. Ference is a lefty, Dougie righty, so if they don't want to mess with the D pairs they might slide in AJ. Although it's been a long time since he's played a game.

I know he faced 40 shots but Reimer needs to stop all 4 of those that ended up being goals....very bad goals to give up

The tip by horton he has absolutely no chance on.

The point shot that got through he was brutally screened by Kostka.

Well I'm glad we didn't fall into that dreaded 2-0 lead trap last night. Everybody here ok? Ferrence been arrested yet?

Grabo seemed to be the only guy moving last night

ya it was only the 2nd, and score was tied, but still plenty of reason for frustration by that point. When you chase the other team around, never have the puck, and get casually hammered to the ice when you go near them, you start to tilt

I did notice a bit of bounce in Grabo's step last night but it still seems like he lacks the confidence to finish a play off. He makes a decent move on a defender then loses the puck. or they have a two on one... and he just hold the puck too long and then makes the pass too late.
