Also, rather than just forcing Grabo to become the shut-down guy, Carlyle should be drilling it in that EVERY SINGLE LINE needs to be defensively responsible, and give all the players in the top-9 a good number of offensive zone starts.

Agreed. not sure who i would take out for him. But I definitely think his solid play all year gives him the benefit of the doubt to get another shot

I didn't even see that game. But Fraser, IMO, gets overrated because of the easy competition he faces. There is no easy competition in the playoffs. O'Byrne's an upgraded version of him, and Franson has started hitting more, so Fraser wouldn't be missed, when swapped with Gardiner, who, while awful defensively, will help the Leaf's breakout. I don't mind Fraser- there's just others I'd rather have in the lineup, for this series specifically.

As for Frattin on the 2nd and Kulemin on the 3rd- it's just chemistry. We know the MGK line can work wonders, and we know Frattin and Kadri have had some pretty good moments earlier this season, plus, Frattin brings more physical presence to that line.
