He's not all that good defensively. He isn't a solid D. Makes a lot of mistakes.
I think it has something to do with how well he played for us last year. Set a high standard for himself that he hasn't been able to live up to this year.
He gives a lot of turnovers and is kinda sloppy.

Honestly, I like Schenn. I'm glad we got rid of him because he's better off somwhere else. I'm happy he's working for you

I'd have to say no, just because we have enough wingers as is.
I'll give you Frattin and a 3nd rounder.

And I could see Couturier being traded to Toronto, but you guys would have to add quite a few more pieces to your side ontop of Gardiner for it to be feasible.

He's got potential, but he's nowhere near ready yet. Shot himself in the foot, getting his agent to make a storm- now he can't go back down to develop properly, and will have to earn a spot against guys who can actually play defense - something Carlyle is known to look for in his defensemen.

What did you guys think of that hit on Eller? I thought the five minute penalty assessed was ridiculous. The guy had his head down, and got popped; he had the puck - there was no "interference", which is what the refs called. Reactionary panic call by the refs based on the injured player and the 'outrage' of the Habs fans.
