Exactly - the enemy of my more-threatening enemy is my friend, right ? There's time to hate on the Isles later

Mario was the best player alive to me anyway. He just seemed to not even try and made everyone around him a million percent better. Crosby yeah he is kind of a baby but he also in my opinion out grew it. I really don't like him but lets be honest he is the fuel that makes this team go.

JT is a beast though quiet and does his job without complaining at all.

Agreed...growing up I thought LaFleur was the man, then Bossy and Greatzky, but as amazing as Gretzky's numbers are, Lemieux was miles ahead of anyone else I ever saw. He had Gretzky's vision, with immense size and hands like Jagr, shooting accuracy like Hull. He was the perfect player.

No Caps blog makes it hard to get into a pissing contest with those guys. Although Madcap is here.

I think he's the only one on this site anyway. Madcap is too composed to get into that stuff, you guys will have to fight with each other.

Kind of have to agree. I have nightmares about the time Mario scored 5 in a game at MSG, it was right after he was recovering from the Hodgkins, fans actually gave him a standing O at the Garden. And people call Ranger fans classless.

I get the Ovechkin-Crosby angle to the Pens-Caps, but otherwise have never understood the hate from a Pens perspective - the Caps have essentially been the equivalent of a Homecoming Game for the Pens come playoff time

There are a couple of other Caps fans who post on Ek's blog (believe it or not - haven't figured that one out). I asked Ek about a Caps blog (or just a thread) for the playoffs but didn't hear anything back.

Last playoffs I think there were 3 or 4 Caps posters in Hindle's blog, not enough to justify someone covering them on a regular basis. Feel bad for Madcap he is on an island all alone.

Kencan isnt here....pretty sure most of the Isles fans on here who love to talk hockey wont get pissed at you for stopping by.

Its quite funny to see fans of the Isles most hated teams actually rooting for us. Leafs, Rag$, Flyers fans...feel the love folks!

Im a little anxious and nervous... Just want the puck to drop!

I think we know that the Isles have to play a perfect series and get some lucky breaks here and there...

Think alot are hesitant because we don't know which Isles team will show up. The one that we saw for over a month play ridiculously well or the one that we saw for three games crap the bed.

They gotta attack fleury. Shots and drive the net hard. My only concern is that our tiny back end can play well positionally because as we have seen at times, larger teams expose our small d.

Enjoy it...."his experience will be good for the younger guys"

I guess Nabby, Streit, Vis arent enough...we need a f'n deadbeat like Reasoner in there as well? Joensuu should beplaying tonight.

If we beat the Pens you're going to want nothing to do with us.
