Agreed again....

But if this year cannot be used, then those "few" years you mentioned don't count, because regular season can't be used. Right? Because that'd be a contradiction.

Use them all. We did better against the Bruins this season in terms of wins/losses, but the underlying dominance was there for 3 of the 4 games.

I wouldnt use the regular season to suggest Toronto can win, but I would look at it as to the reason why Boston, who already has not only a talent and experience advantage, but a mental one as well.

You're using the regular season as a justifcation that Toronto can compete with Boston and win against them in the playoffs. Im using the regular season to point out the mental edge, nothing more.

Whats worse is that not everyone has found that out yet..

Some think we just made a couple of mistakes and the Bruins weren't that good... ..

They are a team like any other team. They are not unbeatable or that much better than the Leafs skill wise. Their systems are much better, as they have built in support in all 3 zone of the ice. If a guy does gets in trouble he always has multiple options/support.

In the beginning the of reg season the Leafs were sort of playing that type of system, but for the 2nd half, they have broken away from it. and hoping for plays where Kessel or Lupul do end to end rushes.

Exactly my point. They know how to play, and win, in the playoffs. It wasn't luck or fluke that caused Toronto to keep turning the puck over and make mistakes all night. Experience.

Toronto is just learning to win. Boston knows how to win. We saw that in plain view last night.

True. Leafs smoked them like a well rolled blunt.

Lets get over this reg season nonsense. Boston has the talent, experience, coaching and depth to slap us around like timid female doges. And they did. You're crying over semantics and refusing to see the big picture.

Anyone hear if Ferrence's elbow to Grabo's head is being reviewed?

Yeah that is what I was thinking too...guess if he does get 1 game it doesn't give the leafs much of an advantage because Dougie Hamilton will just step into the lineup..

Actually felt that it woke him up a bit. JVR and Grabo were the only Leafs that stood out last night.

I state the positive too though!

Like the fact this team can over come the odds by working harder and wanting it more than the Bruins.

Im not counting them out just yet....still love my team. I meant it when I said im happy with just making the playoffs despite what happens and how bad we lose. The experience will serve this team well in the future with what they need to do and how hard they have to work if they want any form of success in April/May/June.

I don't hate them Maybe I will after this series. Original 6 team playing a tough gritty brand of hockey.....I just don't hate them....yet. I hate Marchand if that counts for anything.

Imagine if you had to face them in the playoffs every other year like Montreal does.

Dont hate the bruins. Hate the leafs for playing like a bunch of pussies. Hello Mclaren and Orr, its your job to smash these guys into the boards, etc. and a few open ice hits by phaneuf and fraser wouldn't hurt either....

And when someone smashes grabo or lupul in the face then do the same (frank)ing thing to seguin and krejci !!! for (frank) sakes !!!!

And beat them half the time? Im down!

I can see why you guys hate them now. Was actually a fan of their team before this series started, even with the reg season domination. Last night changed everything. I finally remember what the playoffs feel like, and right now, they feel like a face plant into a pile of camel poop.
