Did you see positives last night?
I'm just curious, because quite frankly, I didn't see any. - Pecafan Fan
I thought JvR looked pretty damn good... |

Yeah, but there's a difference between hard core trolling and chit chat trolling... - Flyfreaky
Oh for sure. Just own up to the troll though, whether hard core, soft core or apple core. |

Everyone trolls, but I think most people associate the word with hard core and don't think it applies to them... |

I'd start by fixing their play in the defensive zone... - Pecafan Fan
The reason they had problems in the Dzone was because of the neutral zone. |

They couldn't win a board battle to save their lives. |

Take away all the Leafs giveaways, they have nothing.
They weren't that good, and several on here said as much. - burn
I don't care what several on here said.
They had a lot of turnovers because Boston's forecheck was better than we've seen this year. They put the pressure on, and we crumbled. |

You can add the offensive zone as well...When you get out-shot 40-20 your puck possession game needs a massive overhaul...I'm gonna go with first game playoff jitters... |

If we fix parts of our game, they wont just stand still and be too stunned to react. They'll just kick our ass a different way. I saw nothing last night that suggests a tinker here or there is going to make much difference. - systemtool
Boston had the worst record in the last 20 games of any playoff team (Did I hear that right last night)????
Boston wasn't very good last night..... handed to them on a silver platter. Lets see how they do if/wen the Leafs play their game properly and stop turning it over in the neutral zone EVERYTIME. |

JVR was solid.
Grabo played like his old self.
Kuli was good on the body.
Komarov dropping the gloves at the end of the game (shows they're pissed).
Those are just the few I saw. |

If the real Leafs would have shown up you'd be singing a different tune...If JvR scores instead of hitting that post maybe they would have gained some confidence to break out of their tentative funk... |

Agreed.
Hard to get shots when you turn the puck over at your blueline every 5 seconds.
Take out/minimize those turnovers and both those issues shrink. |

I think the only positive I take out of that game is I don't see how they can be any worse.
They were standing around watching the Bruins skate circles around them, and we're supposed to be the "fast" team.
Looked like nobody wanted the puck, and they were tighter than a drum once Boston started applying the heavy forecheck.
Personally I think Gardiner might be able to skate the puck out of trouble some times , and I would sit one of Mclaren or Orr and let Frattin or Colborne have a shot. |

Those were the real Leafs and those were the real Bruins.
Has everyone all of sudden forgotten the complete and utter dominance the Bruins have had over us the past few seasons?
When did this one game become the exception all of a sudden? This has been going on for a long time. |
