It is now yes. Last year no. But the team has added some decent guys back there and he isn't at their level defensively. It'll be good for him being up and being part of the experience with the team, but he's a long term prospect - at least now that the LEafs don't blow goats.

They really do. Bergeron not being 100% is extremely obvious and Peverley/Kelly and such not giving them the depth they used to have is showing the problems without having a real "star" at forward.

If you see him on the blueline in the playoffs, it's the equivalent of the Leafs flying their flag upside-down.

Your third line may be the fly in the ointment for the Leafs.

They are strong on the puck and forcheck very well. If they can matchup with a lower D pair it could cause trouble.

I'm not shocked by that. He's super young, and I know it's unpopular to say but he does make mistakes out there. Mcquaid has more experience and won't get nervous.

Gunnarson's injury is huge. He looked terrible in that last game and I think he only played about 15 mins.

He is learning from guys like Chara and Seids, he will be a top 2 offensive D man for years to come.... But this year he still has a ways to go, although I HAVE been very impressed with hs composure this year
