I have looked at 10 different sports writers and can't find 1 that picks the leafs to beat boston.

Looked at TSNs Scott Cullen's picks for round 1 last year for some comfort though.

Round 1 (he went 3- 5)
Rangers in six. Right but 6 games
Bruins in six Wrong Washington in 7
Devils in five. Right but in 7
Penguins in seven Wrong Flyers in 6
Canucks in seven Wrong LA in 5
Blues in six Right but in 5
Blackhawks in seven Wrong Phx in 6
Red Wings in six. Wrong Nashville in 5

Does anyone remember any writer picking LA last year?

- D.Lemieux

If it makes you feel better.....95% of writers didn't think the leafs would make the playoffs.

Agreed.

Its not impossible, just highly improbable, but it can be done.

Go Leafs Go!!

Thats a big part of the difference with this team. All Julien had to do in the past is key on Kessel. Well, if he does that now as we have seen this year it opens up space for other guys who weren't there over the last few years. JVR, Kadri and the emergence of Bozaks creativity maker keying on Kessel a less than great strategy. This Leafs team isn't from 2 or 3 years ago. They have the depth to create problems for Boston. On the flip side, Boston isn't going to light the lamp too often, but come in with all the experience, albeit experience that didn't help them last year.

If the line combos today serve as primers to the game, we'll see an impact guy on every line.

I wouldn't care if he didn't bag a point, but opened up space for the other guys. If he has to have bad stats to help the team win then so-be-it.

Whats a Hetty?

An injury, taking a penalty that leads to a Bruins goal, and missing an open net?

Shows RC's strategy is to render Chara ineffective in that he may deal with the Kessel line, but the other forwards will have some space, makes sense.

Oh my God, huge mistake.

The Bruins weren't really into this series - I imagine a lot of them weren't really motivated enough to put forth enough effort to win this series.

But now, the Bruins coach is going to cut these words out and put them on the bulletin board outside the dressing room.

That's a place where every single Bruin will be able to read them.

It's a stupid rookie mistake.

We are done.
