Does not sound like Sid will be ready for game one. - nbartley9
Unless the doctors don't clear him this afternoon, I fully expect him to play tomorrow. One of Sid's best qualities is his ability to adapt his game to his line mates. I don't think he needs a practice or 2 to get comfortable like some players might. |

Leafs Bruins is going to be a barn burner. - nbartley9
Yeah, it'll be interesting. Definitely feels like it has a chance to get nasty. To me though. it's the only one like that in the East. I know a lot of people will be hyped for the Rangers and Capitals but I could care less. Same for Senators and Habs although that's one to keep an eye on too. |

Josh Yohe said to Vinnie and Cook that he thought that Sid's appointment as this morning, that's whats frustration about this stuff a lot of things floating around out there. When Howard Eskin reports it ill believe it. |

Definitely not. A few shifts and he will be fine. Questions are: Does he get cleared? If so, does he keep the protective gear(bane mask) on? I say I don't know and yes. |

Quick question, why would you not sit him the entire series even if he is cleared. If you go down a game (which you won't), bring him in.
Like you said, it's not like he needs time to get into "game shape". The guys been in NHL shape since he was 12. I'd let him watch and if things go wrong, throw him in. |

If he's cleared by the doctors then he should play. I see what you're saying but if he's not cleared then he sits. That's the only reason. The Penguins aren't looking at any game, let alone a series, as a cakewalk. |

That's a good point. I guess even if it's highly unlikely, anything can happen. |

We all know you miss Sidney, don't worry though he will be back soon. Maybe this will hold you over.

Yes I do, he's a hell of a player. |

As long as Crobsy is ready for round 2 then I will be happy. If the doctors give him the clearance then go ahead and play him now. Now that he is practicing with the team I'm not as worried. He'll be in there soon enough. |

I remember Pat Lafontaine playing an extended period of time with a broke jaw, I'm not worried about Crosby. |

On one hand the line juggling by Bylsma does not promote chemistry between line mates , but on the other hand if everybody plays with all different line mates they get more of a team chemistry ? Any word on Crosby ? |

I think Said told Mark Madden during his interview that he's fine with the protective mask. |
