as long as you don't start replying to yourself we're all golden!

1) Stay out of the box. If the Isles are taking a bunch of penalties you're doomed.
2) Use you're speed. It's the 1 advantage the Isles have.
3) Get nasty. I really think a guy like Czikas makes a name for himself if you win. The Pens don't like being crosschecked and slashed after the whistle. If the ref lets you get away with it you have to take advantage like the Flyers did.

I am 1 Pens fan that didn't want this match up. I think the Isles can give them some trouble.

1- Absolutely cannot take penalties, at all, otherwise it's going to be four and out, and it's going to be ugly.

2- That's what I scream about when we play Philly. They are slow as frozen molasses, and we play right into their hands half the time. I don't know how much this matters against Pittsburgh, though. When the Isles get too crazy with the skating, they tend towards pond hockey, and Pittsburgh will eat them alive if the boys start with that cr*p. Using the speed to forecheck and play defense, yes- but trying to skate with the Penguins will be a disaster.

3- Nasty only works if the Isles can get ahead in the series...and deeper in the series, not just winning game one. Then they might be able to use that to get the Penguins totally off their game. If not, they'll just take those aforementioned penalties, and make a bad situation worse.

I was a metallic(bfr black album), slayer, overkill, megadeth, anthrax fan. I went though a brief manowar stage, as far as the hard shat goes. Pantera was one of my favorites. Vulgar display of power is one of the best albums in my collection right up there with cowboys from hell. Love them. Slayer is prob my all time favorite though. South of heaven tour

I don't need to reread I wrote it. I didn't say that they were drafted consecutively in the same year or even in consecutive years. Just that they were drafted by the same team, and any person with a pulse would have picked Crosby with the 1st overall and Geno with the 2nd. You seemed to fill in the blanks with assumptions, that we're neither implied or correct.
