And you are all wrong. I never said it and that's why even though people are looking, they aren't finding anything.

And from what I get from this crowd, most people here aren't big enough to come in and say "He never said it". They'll just call me names instead.

The Cpt guy is looking. He's been posting all day and all of a sudden stopped. Hopefully he's not looking in the same place you looked for your "penguins cupboard" thing.
And BTW, if you DOUBLE the Islanders record they are at 48 wins. That's with the run. If you put them at .500 for the rest of the year, they'll end just above .500 for the season. Not even close.

2 people reposted things that you denied saying, you just chose to ignore them. That's your schtick.

Well, you can't win them all.

It's all part of the maturation process.

You still have crazy potential. Like Nino.

Nino is a prospect and one that hasn't really showed anything positive at all both on and off the ice.

I'd do Bailey, a first, and Nino for Ryan. Then I'd still resign Boyes at the 2.5 you said and I'd try to get him at that number for 3 years. I'd put him on the second with KO and Frans. Then by the deadline I'd have a prospect in that spot and dump Boyes for a pick, and use his contract terms and hopefully his numbers as the selling point.

to all the Pens fans earlier in this thread that were bashing the Isles and giving us no chance, look, we know our team is a massive underdog. Very few of us were expecting the Isles to even make the playoffs when the season started and even less of us did halfway through the year. Just let us enjoy it and wait for the games to be played, and if we lose like everyone thinks we will, then congrats and we'll move on til next year.

We haven't sniffed the playoffs for a long time and we're just happy to be here. Picking on us is like punching a baby or kicking a kitten, just don't do it.

ps, any and all laughter directed at Brad Boyes or his turnovers is fully authorized and then you'll get to deal with kencan98...or kencan99..or kencan998, and so on.

Her name was Nina. She grabbed the entire line. Ac tually a pretty good strategy considering the Pens and Hawks were completely gone by the 3rd round. Playoff pools are a female dog with 14 rounds and 17 people.

if I was going in on a playoff pool I might do that. I finished third this year in our hockey pool thanks to Crosby getting hurt. At least in a playoff pool if you pick dogs and they actually win then you're sitting with a huge advantage.

I had 1st overall and took Crosby. By the time I picked again (35th or whatever) my choice of Pens was Jokinen or Martin.

I ended up loading up on Kings.
