I would love Lucic but it would cost us big time. Clarkson would just cost them cash, which I know wang doesn't like to spend but at some point he has to open up the wallet so why not now?

true...but id be willing to deal some parts if clarkson isnt available and lucic is.

Sorry kencan, but my head hurts. Take a short break and decide what you get out of arguing with the other 99%.

You start the playoffs tomorrow, stop being a buzzkill.

And you didn't factor in that Nabby can't play every game.
- kencan98

correct...again, im going with averages from the 48 game season; this is all hypothetical.

of course if this were a full 82 game season, garth might have made a deal to get a legit backup for the stretch run, therefore allowing nabby more rest...so its moot if nabby can or cant play in this made up scenario, im going by numbers.

Anyone have thoughts on the series?

Clearly the pens on paper have a deeper team, but what will it take to beat them? To me, you gotta stay outta the box, and you gotta get as many shots on fleury as possible.

I agree with you staying out of the box is huge. They will kill us if we give them a lot of power plays. shots on Fleury yes but quality shots and crash the net. We can get some dirty goals that way. I still feel the Pens will beat us but I think we will give them a series. I hate to say but Pens in 6 and I would be ok with that

iSLES IN 7! Ghosts of 1993 return, if only Rich Pilon could come back & smack Malkin into a coma like he did Kevin Stevens in that series.

Yes, they are much deeper but the Isles have gotta play physical but have to stay out of the box as well...

It would be really nice if the Isles can get there PP unit's going... If it gets hot that may make the series really interesting.

Another thing is, if they can put a few goals on Fleury early in game 1, that may get in his head and he might revert back to last years playoff form... Although Vokoun has killed the Isles.

Then obviously, Nabby has to steal a game or 2 or 3 or 4... lol

To be honest with you the Flower plays better when he faces a lot of rubber, the way to beat the Penguins is get under the skin of Sid, Geno, Neal, and Tanger. Neal lost his mind playing that evil band of miscreants last year.

Play disciplined, keep it 5 on 5. Hit the big boys on Pitt as much as possible. Malkin is a baby when he's hit a lot & can react & take penalties in retaliation. Nabokov has to be top notch. JT continues to be JT. Just my 2 cents. Good luck guys.

I remember, he was unconcious before he hit the ice. And went from a 50 goal scorer who was an elite power forward to a 3rd liner who could barely pot 15-20 anymore just a few years later. And he also had that run in with the crackpipe & a hooker in St Louis.

The good ols days of the ban, IP switch, new email, return.

Yes.

Did anyone keep track on how long that actually took? I was in the middle of a post when I got banned so I don't know exactly when he did it.

It takes a while to get the proxy set up. But I own a HOSTING COMPANY and have about 5,000 IPs at my disposal. Email addresses all over the place and verified phones through Google Voice.

If they want to place "Chase Kencan" all day, I got a few more hours of work.
