You actually got the two mixed up but you're close.
I said that Boyes will be one of the most sought after UFAs in the Summer. I said that Iginla, Ryder and Riberio will also be looked at but at Boyes age, for the dollar amount he will require (probably something similar to PAP), he'll be one of the first to go. - kencan98
I'll delete my account here if Boyes gets PA money and produces at a similar place somewhere else next season.

adorable...you certainly made it sound like thats what you said, but once again, conveniently forgetting what you actually said. |

im not comparing players...im comparing teams and their progress as a team.
but here are the stats from the 2007 pens...not THAT FAR off from this years team.

And you honestly (HONESTLY...key word) believe that the Islanders of this year would be close to 47 and 24 if they played a full season? |

PA was only good because he played on JTs line
until he wasn't on JTs line anymore. |

Some of us are cool
I agree tho, this kencan would drive me nuts as a ranger "fan"
Never heard of someone jumping off a bandwagon when the time to stay on has finally arrived - Slimtj100
Most of the Ranger fans on here are cool and have said nothing but great things and rooting for us. Probably so you guys wont have to play them. |

He is our only option right now (like I've said probably 200 times now). If something comes up, and it's better, take it. But to throw an AHLer in the mix without a back up plan is not smart. And I believe that last line could be an exact quote of mine from late march/early april. - kencan98
this is the first time youve even approached the idea of other options coming into play. to you, it was a foregone conclusion that boyes was THE ONLY option for the islanders. you can change your tone now and god bless it because jesus (frank)ing christ, youre annoying, but originally...thats not what you said. |

You now what just really hit me, the Isles are in the Stanley Cup playoffs and the Flyers are not.
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night. |

Yeah that would be great. He would go right on the first line and provide some offense and some muscle on that line |

Find the post and quote it. He is the only option they have right now. Yes, right now.
If something else comes up thats better, take it. But going into next season with a "We'll figure it out" approach is not smart.
That's exactly what I've been saying all along. And you can go back and look.
And for all the people researching every post I ever made in order to try and "catch me", make sure you put the blog you found the post in. You can twist my words all you want but don't edit what I said. |

Because you can't find any post from my past that says anything different than what I'm saying here. And I know "You have better things to do then look through all my posts"....I know. |

they won 24 games...in an 82 game season they were on pace to win 41 games...considering, and im sure even you can agree with this, the team looks like they are only getting stronger, id say getting close to 47 wins in a season isnt that far fetched give or take 2-4 wins. |

For fack's sake Kencan, the Isles are in the playoffs, Boyes sucks, and you're getting your ass handed to you by the most knowledgable Islander fans on the planet. This thread should be 4 pages long but your banter has it up to 26. Are you unhappy about them being in the playoffs? If so, there are a bunch of other teams that didn't make it that you should go root for. |

Never said that and still no quotes of me saying anything other than he's our only option right now.
When one comes up, you can all prove me wrong. but there aren't any. |

he went from playing on one top unit to another. I stand by my comments that he's not worth the deal he got and benefited greatly from playing with the players he did. |
