man (frank) that poop....his poop doesnt work....and people asked why i wanted them to tank...

well you know what, we didint tank...lavy will survive and we get a #11 pick ....(frank) that they should have tanked. lavy would have been gone and we could have got a great player... instead of looking at lavy for another year and a #11 pic

- Philly1980

Is this a joke, or are you really serious?

"If Holmgren can somehow pry Keith Yandle from Phoenix - would Sean Couturier, Braydon Coburn and a draft pick get it done? - the Flyers would have a defensive cornerstone."

Couts, Coburn, and a draft pick??? Cmon Carchidi.

No. I really don't see anything hateful in what I said, nor anything I've said in the past regarding him. Do you feel my criticism is unfounded? I do hate when people try to invalidate any criticism of their favorite players by calling people haters. There's alot of that on the football boards if you don't think Tono Romo or RGIII are the best thing to happen to football, ever.
- Flyers_01

I feel your criticism is way overboard along with your elevating Bobrovsky as the next Patrick Roy. It's clear that you have a bias against Bryzgalov and can't stand him. That's okay, you're entitled to your opinion.

On a completely random side note I adore my new car. It’s a 2014 Mazda 6 and they did a phenomenal job on this vehicle… I’m a big fan of a car being fun to drive, sadly almost 9 years of an RX-8 was becoming impractical. The Mazda 6 is a nice segue-way into my first midsized sedan (yes, cringe all you want until you see it). They redid everything on it, outside, inside and engine and at 38 mpg highway, some serious nice luxury additions and it’s a very hot car! (She is of course red). I got a good deal on it and the hardest part was waiting for it!
Mazda actually contacted me with my own personal customer assistance rep to see how I liked it and sent me flowers (I kid you not).

And now back to hockey....

I will own up to my comments about Voracek. He was great this season but still not the game breaker Rick Nash could have been if we were willing to pay the price.

- SuperSchennBros

Based on the fact he had more points , goals , assists plus is younger and cheaper I go Voracek over Nash.

Both are exciting players , I don't think you could go wrong with either I just personally think Voracek had a better season.

Not Sandy McCarthy, Kevin McCarthy...offensive defenseman drafted by Flyers in the 1970's.

That's what I said, but the 2014's hit dealers in Jan... Only a tiny amount in the US. I got mine end of Mar.

How does that equal a defensive cornerstone? Yandle's a good offensive defenseman, who is adequate in his own end, but he's not a cornerstone

Ugh, you're right. That was terrible.

And the funny thing is, I wasn't confusing Kevin McCarthy with Sandy.

I was confusing Kevin McCarthy with .....Randy Holt. He of the 67 penalty minutes in one game against the Flyers.

Like McCarthy, Holt played for the Flyers at the tail end of his career.
