Good for nhl that Avs won. Seth Jones will be a marketable asset for league. Better for him to be in Denver than So. Florida. Makes u wonder...m

Why bother? Sit there and end up with MacKinnon or Drouin to play with or behind Huberdeau.
- Jsaquella

if they find Jones to be the guy they want more than any other b/c of the D angle.

Exactly what I suggested this morning on the prior blog. I hate to say it because I hate the NBA, but it's one thing they do better than the NHL, their draft lottery.

C'mon did you not see that card fall off the board? That was exciting poop.

I'm sure Florida will be devastated to draft Jonathan Drouin to play with Huberdeau or Nate MacKinnon to form a deadly one-two punch at center for the next decade or so

wonder if panthers try to pry the #1 for the #2 plus
- wilsonecho91

No need. They'll be perfectly happy with MacKinnon or Drouin.

I feel your criticism is way overboard along with your elevating Bobrovsky as the next Patrick Roy. It's clear that you have a bias against Bryzgalov and can't stand him. That's okay, you're entitled to your opinion.
- MJL

I may not be Bryz's biggest fan but you are reading way to much into this. There's nothing I said which wasn't plausible and indeed possible, especially the media boycott. You get overly sensitive anytime anything negative is said about him. I guess you are entitled to your own overboard opinions as well. That's ok.

+1

or have each GM play some form of Press Your Luck

- wilsonecho91

every non playoff team should have a shot at any draft spot 1-14. worst record = more chances to have better spot. but then they randomly draw for each spot. if you just miss the playoffs you cant do any worse, if you suck badly or bag it in, you risk losing a top pick. every pick would be exciting.

way more drama, way more excitement.

No I don't get overly sensitive anytime anything negative is said about him. There are certainly legitimate criticisms that can be made about Bryzgalov. An objective analysis of any player involves both negatives and positives. When an analysis is repeatedly offered that doesn't contain any positives, that's a red flag.

Ed Snider should threaten to move the Flyers to Seattle, then they will get the #1 pick.

Damn. I have no idea why but I felt like we were going to win. I guess that is why the normal lottery does so well each week.

Nashville at 4 is interesting. Waiting on Nishuskin could piss Weber off. So could taking yet another D man in Nurse.

Taking Barkov gets them a kid who played very well as a teenager in a men's league.

I wonder if that would spark a fall for Nishuskin? No way Nurse makes it past the Oilers.

Good thing we plucked a man from a teenagers league. Our scouts unearthed something there

Buffalo's not going to trade Vanek for Read and Coburn.
- MJL

Miller and vanek both want out. They don't want to go thru rebuild. Everyone knows this. No one is going to give the farm away. They will be gone In the off season. Millers condo is for sale already. Read and coburn more than fair. Buffalo needs top 4 dman and scoring winger. And not to mention this is the same g.m. That traded hasek for kozlov.
