St. Louis missed 5 games with fracture orbital bone and cheek bone. Whoopee-do, Stamkos missed a few shifts after his nose was reduced to mush. The problem isn't the the last injury, it his consistent time on IR and the fact he can't take a hit. If it wasnt the stap shot then it would have been someone breathing on him to hard.

Arguing over who would have or could have won is ridiculous. Crosby is hurt, when healthy he was running away with the Art Ross. But he's not healthy and therefor didn't win it. Period, end of story.

I mean is you want to start talking hypotheticals, Crosby could have made a run at some of Gretzky's records IF he could and in the future can stay healthy. But he can't so it's not a story worth arguing...just like this for the Art Ross

The 3rd round pick was dealt in the Lindback deal
We also traded a second 4th in the trade for Crombeen (which was Philly's original pick acquired in the Kubina deal)

no,you be realistic...im 100% sure he would have been within 25 pts of him with only a handful of season games left...crosby is good but YOU be realistic here again, he plays amongst the best players in the league, sorry in the world...tavares doesn't, st louis doesn't ... ovechkin doesnt.....i agree with you 100% that he would have won the scoring title had he not been injured, but im 100% sure not by 25+ pts of second place...

and michael is right, at the end of the day whats done is done, whats happened has happened and theres no changing it, and in the end st louis came out on top because a 37 year old can stay healthy playing against a bunch of young studs triple his size and weight, and half his age...and come out on top, while a young star like crosby cant keep up with the physicality of the NHL and impact of the hits ...and hes what, 23-26? come on
