so the NHL draft isnt like NBA, correct? you either win, or you stay where you are? (or move back one if someone behind you wins it)

how do they make this a dramatic show? if you are reading 10-1 it gives it away who won or whatever, is it just going to be a big drumroll then say BAM THIS TEAM WINS THE LOTTERY

Darcy is staying. Most likely RR is too. But would you trade both firsts and prospects or whatever to get a top 3 pick? I would say goodbye to miller in a heartbeat even for that. But would love to keep Vanek. He has amazing hands in front of the net

I think they should reverse the trend. I think all non playoff teams should have equal shots at the #1 pick. The should do a straight up equal lottery like bingo. stop encouraging teams to suck. Stop punishing teams for trying. Stop burying world class talent in Florida and Edmonton.
