Yes. He should be playing today in Toronto.

It was easily his best game. He was comfortable. First time all season we saw him get the puck in the neutral zone and actually carry it into the offensive zone, try to shed defenders and get shots off. Driving the net. Protecting the puck. Skating hard to loose pucks.

If he comes into next season playing like he did last night, he'll do extremely well. Hopefully Nichuskin can fall to us at 8th or 9th.

Not to make excuses for the guy but the Rigas years were a shoestring budget. Bankruptcy from those jerks stealing didn't help.
Golisano f-ed things up in the summer of 07, then Pegula made things worse by telling Darcy to spend money for the sake of spending it. That didn't work.

We're finally to a point where money meets logical thinking. I hope.
