Why is everyone so worried about the 2C role? Gags is not the perfect 2C but is doing very good. 2C is NOT an area where the Oil MUST upgrade. It would "be nice to upgrade". The 2 big holes are 2LW and top 2 D. Deal with those 2 issues above anything else.

I think NYR played good without Staal Last year. I think they could part with thim. I don't think they will. Plus I think Carolina is collecting the whole set. Might be something to moving him there.

Miller has had a couple good years 2 -3 years ago. Has been average since with a poopty attitude and a 6 mill cap hit. I'd definitely keep Duby over him.

He is a whopping 29th overall in the NHL in points this year. That is of course behind ROOKIE defense man Justin Schultz whose team isn't going to make the playoffs.

Not saying he is better, but the Oilers have bigger issues going into next year than goaltending. Miller hasn't been as good as he should be for the past few years either.Simply put,he is not worth the salary or the price we would pay to acquire him at this point.

First plus MPS. Myers has question marks. Will he ever return to form that got him a massive contract? Maybe, maybe not. Its a risk.
