Umm... did you even watch the game last night? Penalties were stacked against them? Both sides got 2 minor penalties, but Oilers got a 5-3. That's penalties being in your favor. Oilers were outplayed from start to finish; it's not that they coasted after getting a lead. Playing your backup goalie doesn't excuse getting outplayed in every area EXCEPT the crease. MN was playing with line combinations as well. Hall and Yak showed decent chemistry, but only when they had the puck, neither was defensively impressive.

Suggesting last night implies playoffs next year is as delusional as when Clouts was saying Oilers would win the cup this year.

I am with Clouts. I wanted to finish the season with two losses. The more attention to how terrible Lowe is, the more chance we can break this cycle. However even I was cheering when they scored. No true Oiler fan actually wants them to lose.

Striet has more points than all Van dmen this year. He is top 10. with 86 blk shots
Last year still top 10 in points. 115 blk shts 1 Van dmen beat him by 2 points.

So if Striet is not Top tier, I would say that Vancouver has no top tier dmen either. Also since he finishes in the top 10, with your logic, less than 30 teams don't have top 10 dmen.
