I may be just playing blame the coach, but I think there's something to be said for maintaining the chemistry of a team. And over the last few games Cappy has disturbed that chemistry.

Hardest game ever to watch...no jump or speed...''battle level'' lol I think we had our victory for this year..the playoffs. What we are watching right now are the Isles from last season...just brutal...they all must be mad they didn't have a parade for them already

They aren't doing anything out of the ordinary tonight. What we saw over the last month was not the islanders. They were playing amazing, getting a little lucky and went on a streak. That streak ended during the Jets game and its been terrible since. We are going into the playoffs with a 3 game losing streak and we will be swept.

let's wait until they respond to adversity in the playoffs before burying them. This was in some little three or four game run they went on over the last month. This team is show that they can play with anyone.

I think that's a real issue. Capuano is not a good coach. I love the way this team has played but I'll say it again I think it's in spite of him. You have to question it when this team comes out flat. If they lose and play like they want to win that's one thing but this is something different. This is the islanders of the last five years and its hard to watch. Hopefully they get it together in the third?

Yup.

This is the most passive we've looked in a long time. There's no puck pursuit and our dmen are backing way to deep rather than standing them up at the blueline.
