true, just harder for carlyle to match lines is all.
- Dozzer

home ice or away, you still have 2 road games, makes no difference in matching line unless it goes 7

yes and no, its a lot nicer to begin a series with an advantage than it is to use that advantage to catch up

but yeah, carlyle gets the lines changed quick either way to get the matchups he wants

Actually I think going on the road for our first home game is better anyways. We take one of two then sweep the Scabs. Less pressure.

I think Carlyle is just testing his extra players, to see who he can use, in the playoffs. It looks more like he'll be using only one of his tough guys, for the playoffs. Maybe Frattin has escaped the dog house and may be on the 4th line, in the playoffs.

Even if we win in regulation, on Saturday night, we could still end up with Boston, if they lose their last two games, thanks to ROW.

Or the points that they did get, in the new system.
- PrinceLH

I'm just saying, there has always been a 'loser point'. The difference is the dumb automatic extra point.

So the Senators lost a bunch of games in shootout. If games just ended at the end of overtime, they'd have gotten that point anyways for a tie.

Only problem is Kadri's faceoff skills, if he had those it would be an awesome line.

Was hoping this last game would mean nothing so we could just pound them and injure half of the squad.

I was comparing wins in overtime, where the teams above Winnipeg got 4 extra points, thanks to the current system. If it was the old system, Winnipeg may have gotten into the playoffs. I hate this new system, but it does keep some teams alive longer.

A few kegs before the first Leafs home game. Still trying to sort out my flags especially a big one to drape from the flag pole on the back of my car.
