Clearly Karlsson has moved into the ranks of being seen as one of the most exciting players in the league.

He is very likable, enormously popular with his team mates and other players around the league. Confident without being arrogant. Not unlike his mentor Daniel Alfredsson. Watch him in warm ups, he is often laughing and having fun just playing the game. Stamkos is like this, so is Claude Giroux.

Some other star players, Crosby in particular, are miserable personalities constantly whining and complaining. Because they are not respectful of other players they do not get a lot of love in return. Hockey is in an awkward situation right now because Crosby is so personally unpopular.
