Just watched Lacy and Bell's video. I thought we made the right choice by picking Bell over Lacy (who's someone closer to what we already have in Dwyer). Bell is more athletic all around. Good choice.

Not thrilled with the pick, especially with Swearinger on the board. I hope Bell works out, but he's a minor upgrade over Dwyer.

Lacy went to GB at the end of the 2nd. Bernard, Bell and Ball all picked ahead of him.

Im ok with the pick, I think hes a solid RB, Im going to wait til he puts on some pads and starts getting snaps before I pass judgement.

Swearinger went almost 20 picks later, hes good, but Phillip Thomas is still on the board and getting him in the 3rd would be a solid pick.

We'll agree to disagree but Swearinger's upside is higher than Thomas. Bell was a reach at our pick.

So, who exactly is playing goal for the Wild tonight? Did they acquire Michael Leighton all the sudden? 5-0 Oilers in the second.

Been watching some of the Buf/Isle game. Isle are sucking. Pens would steam roll them.

I wonder if they are a little wound up knowing that the playoffs are on the line.

Whoever drafts Max Domi is getting a speedball of a player. The guy absolutely flies. As decent skill and can be a wrecking ball when he hits.

Good hands, but really needs to work on his route running. For someone with speed he gets very poor separation.

Buffalo wins in a shootout over the Isles. NYI goes to sixth, but only one point up on Ottawa and the Rags.

Ottawa has two more games - Philly and Boston

The Rags need to go into overtime against the Devils to force a tie with the Islanders and they win the tiebreaker over the Isles. Rags get a point, we play Ottawa or the Islanders. They don't, we more than likely play the Rags.

Isle got a point. If Rags get a point and Ott gets a point, it will be the Isle.....and to that I say

Isle was poop tonight. Miller gift wrapped their only goal.

Bell was a reach, but Tomlin fell in love with the kid. They met for dinner the night before and the kid picked up the tab, and it wasnt cheap. However there were no RBs who were absolute must haves and it was a big need for the Steelers.

I would have preferred they take a safety instead of Wheaton, but Im not disappointed with the pick.

JMO, Bell wasn't that much of a reach at all. If you want a reach, Manuel in the first to Buffalo was a much, much bigger reach.

I read somewhere he had some of Antonio Brown in his game, but undersized. I swear to god I had us taking him in my mind. Good luck to Jones, Bell and Wheaton

Well yea... Manuel is the prototypical pre-draft hype. I think with how Russell Wilson turned out last year, Buffalo thought thats what they were going to get out of him. Sad thing is, Barkley and Nassib are still on the board. I think Buffalo really screwed the pooch with that one. Same with the Cowboys, that pick had to be the tied for the WTF moment of the draft.

I like Bell though, he did a lot with very little at MSU. Im hoping the offensive line is healthy and in shape and ready to go.

I read the same that hes like an Antonio Brown, problem is, we already have one... we need that #1 receiver, but Im ok with this pick. Wheaton has enough speed to break the top off defenses kind of like Wallace.

I have no idea who that guy is and I watch a LOT of college football. Obviously the steelers know what they are doing though who knows mike Wallace was a third rounder.....hopefully this guy doesn't forget how to catch like mike did

Catching is one knock on the guy, word is hes not aggressive to the ball and he will catch with his chest.

I just want receivers that catch the ball it doesn't matter how fast you are if the ball is laying on the turf

He's more than a minor upgrade over Dwyer. Dwyer can't stay healthy and he can't catch the ball. Plus Dwyer could care less about his conditioning. He's not devoted to staying in shape. Bell is a workhorse RB with the ability to catch the ball out of the backfield. I thought he might go a round later but I like the pick.

Maata, Harrington and Pouliot all are moving on in their respective playoffs.

Good to see the future (or trade bait) getting experience.

Hopefully we hold on to Morrow/Iginla, win a couple cups and we don't have to use our young D as trade baits
