For any NBA fans, huge injury news. Russ Westbrook, torn meniscus. No timetable for return.

I was a Seattle Supersonics fan so they are the closest thing to me in the NBA today

Maybe Bylsma was listening to my questions on Penguins Hotline last night when I asked about the stupid idea of making Iginla play on his off-wing & quit being so damn stubborn with an obviously poor roster decision.

Duper- sid - Iggy
Kuni - Malkin - Neal

is the only way to run things. Or move Morrow to the 2nd and play Cooke back at his more comfortable LW position and Iggy on the other side of Sutter.

There's 3 guys that have had their most success at RW on this team right now in Neal, Iggy, and Dupuis. The question is:

Who can adjust the easiest while still being productive on LW? (Unless you're willing to move one of them to the 3rd line)

Easy answer. Duper.

I'm OK with those lines as well ...just would like to see Glass sit once Sid is back.

Btw, I'm more than fine to play the Islanders in the 1st round. Rangers, IMO, would be tougher. Ottawa would be my 2nd choice.

It's a relief to know you somewhat approve. If I had a dollar for each time there was a Tanner Glass reference from you - either send him packing somehow or put him in the pressbox, I would be a rich, rich man.

I agree,

I know Im not going to get my way but for playoff I expect:

iggy sid dupes
kuni geno neal
morrow sutter jussi
cooke adams glass

with vitale, Jeffrey, Bennett and tk sitting...

sucks for Bennett he worked so hard just to get sat, but theres no where to slot him.. Just cant wait for next yr with him and sid together hopefully

I would go with

Dupuis Crosby Iginla
Kunitz Malkin Neal
Morrow Sutter Cooke
Adams Jokinen Kennedy

I think that is what is going to happen. Jokinen will get some PK time, and maybe bumped up to 3rd line winger instead of Cooke, when the team needs a goal. If you run those top two lines, and then Morrow - Sutter - Jokinen, that is almost like 3 top six lines when you need some offense.

Sucks for Bennett, but it might be the right move for him to sit Game #1. Kid hasn't played a playoff game of any sort since his BCHL days. As much of a disappointment Kennedy and Glass have been, those guys have been part of long playoff runs before, so the speed/intensity of a playoff game won't be something that is too surprising.

You always have Bennett to be your first guy off the bench in case of injury or line shakeup.

id rather play Bennett in first round and see how he does, then if need be sit him the following rounds... kid is not going to learn anything sitting and playing with 3rd line...

but I did notice last night he started with geno and iggy

I'd be willing to bet the he'll learn a lot sitting and/or playing with the 3rd or 4th line in the playoffs.

I kind of liked Willie Colon. Anybody else shared the same feeling? Will Jarvis Jones be better than last year's James Harrison
- Orpik44

(frank) no. The guy was absolute garbage. Never disliked a Steeler player more than that piece of crap. Penalty prone and injury prone. Good riddance.

I love the Jarvis Jones pick! Like to see Lacy taken in the second. Or a WR like Hunter or Allen.

I have no preference when it comes to who they take at WR because they seem to just pick people in the 6th round that turn into pro bowlers at that position. When they take them early they tend to suck or leave( Holmes, Burress, Sweed )

I loved Santonio Holmes...not so much anymore. It would be cool to get a WR in the 4th, 5th round.

I liked santonio until he got busted for weed like the 5th time..... I don't care if he used it but how stupid could you be to get caught multiple times and it showed he didn't care about anyone but himself and I hate self>team guys

I think it will be difficult to assimilate and get all the injured guys on the same page with the guys who have been playing regularly. Hope we don't F up the first two playoff games. Tough to make up ground that time of year.

Interesting interview on the Fan with Errey. He doesn't think we'll see Sid for the first PO game. Maybe the first few. Kind of getting that feeling myself after hearing the interview with Sid. Talking about avoiding contact and such.... Plus he only was practicing on the PP unit. Maybe we only see him in the 2nd week and as a PP specialist only.

I'm encouraged by the lines Bylsma had today. Keep Iggy on the RW.....period. When Sid gets back bump Jussi to the 3rd or 4th. Am I the only one that thinks Jussi might bump Sutter to the 4th? Good problems to have. That's SICK center depth!

It's nice to have Bennett on the bench in waiting. Unfortunately that's where he'll be if they're fully healthy.

I'm on the same boat....and I mean, spreading the wealth is always a good thing in a playoff run. I wouldn't separate Cooke/Sutter though.

The Steelers will have pretty good options to pick when their time come! Some guys are sliping through

The Charges took a chance on Te'o and the Jets picked Geno Smith..

4 picks to go and it's our turn!

Bell, Le'Veon RB it is...

Don't know what to think about this pick.

Thoughts?

Buffalo beating the Islanders 1-0, middle of the 2nd. Good!

Not fast, but hes agile, runs well, blocks well, catches well...

I think a lot of GMs are looking at Lacy as fool's gold, and that he looked a lot better than he actually is because of that 'Bama OLine.

So...Lacy is still out there? He was supposed to be a very good pick.

Jarvis Jones
Le'Veon Bell

So far it's OK.
