Since Im a Steelers fan... yep... I am... and have no one on the Rangers board to discuss this with...
Got my fingers crossed we get Jarvis Jones and Eddie Lacy or Tyler Eifert. - aecliptic
None of those are bad choices. Jones is probably best though.
I'm hoping its Jones, Lotulelei or Vaccaro. Wouldn't be upset if Eifert got picked. I just think Heath will come back and re-sign to play a few more years. Paulson could end up playing a big role too. |

I would love jones but they are going to have to pick between him and eifert (I prefer jones even with his back "issues") unfortunately I think lacy will go too early in round two and the steelers don't ten to trade up for players I would like to see the steeler tak a chance on lattimore in like the 4th |

I want Eifert or Lacy as their second pick... Id like to see them try to trade up a few spots to try to land them, but its highly unlikely... although its not a star filled draft, a lot of GMs say its a very deep draft of potentially good players. With the first one Ill be happy with Jones or Vaccaro. However, Im reading today that the Saints might jump on Jones to back the new 3-4 system Rob Ryan is bringing. |

I agree on Jones/Vaccaro/Eifert. Unfortunately, we have to hope they fall to #17. |

We'll get neither Eifert nor Lacy with our 2nd pick. Both Lacy and Eifert will be gone mid/end-first round. |

Id like to see them go after Ball (preferably) or Bell, and then take a chance on Lattimore in the 5th.
Not too many are projecting Lacy to go in the 1st, however with such a thin draft as far as RB, someone might bite in the last first or early 2nd round. Eifert, yea, hes a pipedream... Steelers would need to trade up, which they usually dont do. Dion Sims is someone Steelers on the radar, looks like a good player for the 4th round for a TE. |

Oh well, I can live with it. Montee Ball isnt much of a drop off from Lacy's talents. |

Such an odd year as we really have a lot of holes to fill, differs from prior drafts. |

As a die hard Steeler fan I want...
1st- Xavier Rhodes CB FSU The biggest need nobody talks about. Best cover corner in CFB with Rod Woodson like size.
2nd- Le'veon Bell RB Michigan State Just a beast of a RB. The guy wears teams down.
3rd - Best LB available 4th on best player every round after.
The Steelers have done great drafting LB's late.

While I agree that it's a need, the 3-4 defense is predicated more on a pass-rush than excellent cover corners (as a majority of coverage responsibilities are zone-related). The pash rush has been lacking the past few years. That said, corner could use an upgrade. |

I can name a bunch of guys the Steelers drafted late at LB that became GREAT... Not so much at CB. Our 3rd CB is Gay and our 4th is Brown... Scary |

Not a bad first period for a game that doesn't technically matter for either team!
...but seriously, let's start playing games that matter!!!
IS IT WEDNESDAY YET?! |
