Well yea... Manuel is the prototypical pre-draft hype. I think with how Russell Wilson turned out last year, Buffalo thought thats what they were going to get out of him. Sad thing is, Barkley and Nassib are still on the board. I think Buffalo really screwed the pooch with that one. Same with the Cowboys, that pick had to be the tied for the WTF moment of the draft.

I like Bell though, he did a lot with very little at MSU. Im hoping the offensive line is healthy and in shape and ready to go.

Still on the board. Not just the Bills who didnt think highly enough of them. Bills are last team that should be criticized for passing on Nassib. His college coaches clearly didnt think he was good enough.

Read this and tell me if you think the Bills are taking a reach at QB

There's no such thing as a reach for the Bills when talking about finding an answer to that position. Nothing else matters.

Back to the Pens...

Interesting article on TIOPS about Bylsma having two lineups. One with Sid, one without.

Top two lines will be Duper, Iggy, Sid and Kunitz, Neal and Malkin. The thing that annoys me is he continues to work Iggy on both sides at practice and during the game. From what I've seen so far, Iggy has clearly been more effective at RW. Looks a little lost on the left

I'm glad he's getting Iggy away from Geno because Geno is always deferring to him, but please Danny, LEAVE the HOF'er at RW.

I think the Steelers are having a very average draft when they needed to hit a home run.

Love the first pick, hate the 2nd and the third is just ok.

This needed to be a rebuilding draft. Not a draft by need for next year. 7 - 9 here we go.

I don't know if you noticed but we are talking about the Buffalo Bills now not Penguins hockey and especially not Steelers...

Yeah, I noticed...

But wanted to get back to a team that has "winning" in the future.

however.... Had to do my obligatory Steeler post. Going to be a rough year in Steeler Country.

Gunner, I remember Doug Flutie. He was the starting QB when I lived in Canada. What did you think of him at the time? I thought he was talented but undersized.

I agree, but the problem is that Ben is not getting any younger and we really can't afford to waste any more of his prime years. That said, they really need to be toeing the line between the two (rebuild + need).

He's more than a minor upgrade over Dwyer. Dwyer can't stay healthy and he can't catch the ball. Plus Dwyer could care less about his conditioning. He's not devoted to staying in shape. Bell is a workhorse RB with the ability to catch the ball out of the backfield. I thought he might go a round later but I like the pick.

I respectfully disagree, he's a minor upgrade at best. Sure he's more well-rounded, but lacks break-away speed, has average vision, and played against so-so competition in the big ten.

I agree with Iginla being on RW, he's looked uncomfortable during his time on LW.

I've seen nassib play many times and honestly I didn't even know he was a draft prospect. I saw people mocking him in the first round and I though some team was going to be very unhappy. I guess he's benefiting from a very weak QB class because in my opinion he should be drafted.

The true power of the NFL. The league garners more attention for its draft than the NHL playoff push and beginning of the NBA playoffs.

Tyler Bray is the perfect QB for the steelers this year. He needs to sit for a few years but he has HUGE upside. I think if he gets to go to that team where he sits for a few years he will have the best career of any QB in this draft.

They took Landry Jones and one of his targets, Justin Brown.
