With the 8th pick, the Buffalo Bills select, Eddie Lacy, running back, Alabama...

its only a reach if the person turns out to be bad - robz228
right, which is why I wouldnt take one because there is no sure thing at QB in this draft.
I want Jordan or Austin if either is still around. |

so the bills draft austin or the cornerback at 8 then the jets take nassib at 10 and nassib turns out to be great. the bills miss out because he wasnt a "sure-thing"
take 6 qbs this draft. one is bound to be good. who cares about the other positions. they are all irrelevant if your starting QB is tarvaris jackson |

You need a great quarterback to win a Super Bowl. Until you get one, it doesn't matter how talented the rest of your roster is. The days of the Trent Dilfers of the world winning the Super Bowl were shortlived as it was, and are now extinct. The entire focus should be to land one until you actually get one, much like a top center in hockey. |

and how are you going to get 6 QB's reps? That's Mike Schoops idea and its stupid.
Yes, if the Jets grab Nassib and we pass and he turns out great then oh well. I'm not for picking a player out of desperation, I'm for pickinga player because he is good. |

I dont consider Joe Flacco a great QB.
Just because you need on doesnt mean there is one to be had.
Yes, having a great QB is huge in the NFL, I agree....but I dotn see one in this draft. Of course I could be wrong, but that's my thoughts. |

With the ability to still use an amnesty next summer, I would not buy out Leino this summer. Not really many options in Rochester to replace him with. We shouldnt be signing any top-6 FA's, and I think Armia should have a year in Rochester getting top minutes and adjusting to the NA game. - theblueandgold
I think we need to add a top-6 FA, why shouldn't we?

well they can carry him until next year and buy him out
You canĀ“t buy out an injured player but who says he will still be injured when the buyout period begins. Just look at the Drury case. - toddkac
I thought the deal was you can't buy out on LTIR but you could if he is just injured. Could be wrong but I thought it had to do with that distinction |
