Howden, in my opinion, could be used as trade bait to bring in legit scoring. Maybe not. Dale always wanted Mac. That's who he would have picked regardless. He doesn't want Jones for many reasons.. Gudbranson, Petrovic, Racine, Robak, Matheson.. we have plenty of blue liners to go along with Campbell, Kulikov, Brennan... we are fine there. Mac is going to be a top line center in the NHL. I just hope we bring him up soon. It will depend on what Weiss's decision is. I feel as though with our future crop at center looking like a combination of Weiss/Mac/Shore/Matthias/Bjugstad... we're in good shape. By the way, that's not in any certain order, just how I happened to remember their names. We also have to remember that Huberdeau and Mueller are also centers, and we have Marcel Goc.. who was on pace to score 18-20 goals in a full season.. on the team as well. Even Kopecky can take some draws. I also hope we keep those guys.. they would be a great third line.. Kopecky-Goc-Bergenheim.

Also I'm not saying they are bad players but honestly would you really trade one of the big 3 for them? I would never trade a top 3 pick but that's just me unless it was a huge over payment.
