Plus, every win they get before the season ends lowers the chances that Homer is going to go bat stink crazy this offseason and do something we'll all regret by just a little bit... which is great.

I disagree... Where was he this year when the team needed him the most?or last?

Bryz showed it on the ice instead of moping to reporters

- Philly1980

I look at the past several years, Briere's outstanding playoff contributions etc. Briere was dealing with injury early on this season, so I can't really call him out on that. He's also playing out of position...he is much better as a center imo...still, he's overpaid and at his age and contract, a buyout candidate. I think he can still play at a high level in the right situatuon (and if he stays healthy).

In my estimation, all Bryz showed on the ice that he is a less than elite, overpaid goalie who, at times, undermines his players with his histrionics after goals are scored...which only adds to the numerous words/actions that seemingly have estranged him from many on the team.

And if his teammates don't like him, guess what? I don't give a (frank)! Do I like everyone I work with?! Not always, do I let that affect my job? No, be a professional and do your damn job. Homer should weed out the crybabies. Even if its giroux
- JoeRussomanno

If you followed the thread, the genesis was somebody mentioning that Bryz might have a shot at the Dupree Award. Bill shot that idea down, saying that Bryz has a bad rep not only with the media, but with his teammates as well.

The conversation wasn't about him being kicked to the curb because he's not an ideal teammate or moody during postgame scrums. A lot of jumping to conclusions here...

.500 is not what you think it is Jim Jackson.

That means you have won half your games. The Flyers have NOT won half their games.

- MBFlyerfan

You are incorrect. In the NHL .500 refers to Points Percentage.

i didn't hear the question, but i can assume based on what you've written they're asking him about his personal W-L record, and what he's saying is that his personal "success" doesn't matter because the team isn't making the dance. that's what he should say. it's no different than a player being asked about a goal during the game in which they lost...i've heard it countless times. player says he'd rather have won the game than get the goal or earn a personal milestone.

there's a difference sometimes everyone can hate someone because the person can be a distraction for the end goal of the team

i have no idea if bryz is that type of person or not

The O-line was all pretty much hurt but Mathis any QB would have been running for their life.

I think it will be Vick but Foles in my eyes can run this offense.

Whatever happens in the summer, and whoever remains...

I want this team to come out testicles on fire next season. To start out hot, and show fight.

They were embarrassed this season.

He's right. Haha but again though, it kind of could be taken both ways. Some dumb media guy will say its because he doesnt care about winning.

He does help make his own bed sometimes, but its unreal how bad they wish for him to fail.

Would really love to be in those closing interviews with a lot of these guys.
