If you want to go that route, let's pull out pictures of the Isles golfing for the last 5 years, i'm sure we could find a lot.

You make the playoffs in a shortened season and suddenly you think the Isles are some power house.

I can't figure out if this post is serious or not. Flyers aren't good at all, Isles injuries are much worse, Luongo, etc etc. The flyers are a good YOUNG team, sure they are not making the playoffs this season, that doesn't mean they don't have a young core that will be good for years to come. As for injuries, last year's Isles vs this years Flyers, the Flyers win in that department easily as well. No, Luongo is not the answer, While Bryz hasn't been what he was in Phoenix he hasn't been 100% the problem. The Flyers system is a big part of the problem for the defense / goalie, it leaves the goaltender out to dry. Mason has looked very good since being traded to Philly. You can diss the Flyers as much as you want but atleast make sure it's true.

It's fans like you that make it kind of hard for others to want to root for the Isles, but then again, you probably weren't an Isles fan untill 3 weeks ago.

Griffin Reinhart, Ryan Strome, Brock Nelson? Yeah, I think the Islanders have a great future. I even like how Garth Snow has handled their development as the Isles rushed Okposo/Bailey a bit. But, they learned from their mistakes.

I think the team needs to upgrade their D and add some better players to the 3-4 lines, but it will come in time.

Why even bother? I'm pretty sure there is a flyers blog for tonight's game. So why not just go over there and tell everybody how we just became fans 3 weeks ago Seriously who cares man, is it really worth starting a whole big deal about this?

Who gives a crap? I hope we win the next two? With Toronto losing we can take their spot and play the Habs. We should reeeeeaaallly be shooting for that. I'm glad we are in don't get me wrong but I'd be freaking insanely nuts (frank)ing ecstatic if we could win a round

Yeah I have to fig out which games I can go to. Have the tix through a friend already just have to see which ones j can swing with work? I really hope these guys win these next two. I don't want to play Washington, Pitts, or Boston. I really think we can take Montreal. Hope poulin gets the win tonight.

I think Briere will be bought out after the season, Bryz not sure on, i don't know if they are 100% convinced that Mason is back to normal yet.

Let's just go our own ways, folks. I'm not going to lecture the Flyers in a rare down year any more than I'd want to hear lectures from their fans.
