I find it weird that that fans find the need to defend Cooke. If you took a poll of current NHL players asking for the biggest POS or dirtiest player in the game, where would Cooke come out? We all know it.

So I don't see the need to defend this POS when a Pens fans should have 10 positive things to concentrate on. Unless the innate whining in some fans must come out at all costs, I fail to see the point.

I don't know, I think there are plenty of dirtbags ahead of Matt Cooke as of late. Chris Neil comes to mind. Although talented, I think PK Subban is a dirty bastard too. Why does it burn your biscuits so much that Penguin fans, who watch Cooke day in and day out, can see the changes he has made? Why does it bother you so much that we defend him? Shero does. His teammates do. The fans do. Get over it.
